As a couple, we were extremely DISAPPOINTED with our stay at the Fox Hotel:
• We booked a standard room with a city view, but the view we received was nothing like the pictures. The actual view was shocking.
• When we complained about the room, the staff promised to move us to a different one, but despite asking every day, we were told the hotel was fully booked and no changes were made.
• The hotel's location is poor. It's in a common neighborhood on a difficult-to-access hill, whether by foot or car. There are no worthwhile restaurants or coffee shops nearby, and all the interesting tourist spots are too far to walk. We felt uncomfortable crossing the streets to reach the hotel at night.
This was the worst hotel experience we've had, both in Turkey and elsewhere. It doesn't even qualify as a hotel—it's more like a guest house and definitely not worth the money. My recommendation: Do not book this hotel.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, in Istanbul!
The staff are amazing! We were warmly welcomed and treated like friends and like we’re the only guests staying at the hotel.
The breakfast is absolutely delicious. It is a set of dishes that change daily and you get to choose how to take your eggs.
The room is clean and spacious, it’s being cleaned daily.
The location is the best, very strategic, close to the metro station, funikuler, taksim square, istiklal caddesi, nisantasi and more.
A lot of small shops, laundry, pharmacies around the hotel area.
I’d definitely stay here again in my next visit.

My recent stay at this hotel was highly disappointing. The room I was given was awful, featuring a small window that opened onto a dreary, unattractive space. The lack of sufficient natural light made the room feel claustrophobic and unwelcoming.
The location of the hotel was poor, with difficult and steep access that added to the inconvenience. While the service was initially good, this quickly changed when I had to make a complaint. The staff's attitude deteriorated, and they were no longer helpful or accommodating.
Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel due to the subpar room conditions, bad location, and inconsistent service.

The words are very poor to describe this warm, friendly and beautiful hotel. Comfortable, cozy, spacious and super clean rooms with great view of the city, the breakfast was delicious and full of variety. Last but not least this hotel are people you find there. One by one are great, kind and pleasant. Special thanks to Emil for his sweetness, kindness and his positive vibes.

The Hotel is spoted in a calm tipical Istambul's neighboorhood, close to one of the most important squares and his great comercial surrounds.
Breakfast is delicious made persinonaly and the staff is lovelly.
I would like to have stayed more time due to the quality.

Whatever I say about this hotel, it cannot describe the reality! The rooms are large and comfortable with an incredible view of the city. The breakfast is excellent with local flavors.The staff and especially Emil always welcome you with a smile and help you with whatever you need!! I recommend it to everyone and I will definitely come back again!!

Lovely Boutique style hotel which is full of character with an amazing Turkish Breakfast. The staff are lovely and it has an easy going vibe. Some lovely local resturants in the area also.
I'd recommend to those not looking for a monster hotel experience but something more intimate. Staff are excellent and seem happy to be there. Max is a good character which works nights.
Would have got 5 stars but there were alot of long hairs in my room when I checked in.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the breathtaking Fox hotel, and I must say, it was an experience I will cherish forever. From the moment I stepped foot into this hotel.
The first thing that struck me was the warm and genuine welcome from the staff. Their impeccable professionalism and attentiveness immediately made me feel like a valued guest. The check-in process was smooth and efficient.
As I entered my room, I was blown away by its sheer elegance and sophistication. The tasteful decor that created an atmosphere of pure tranquility. The room was immaculately clean, and every detail had been carefully thought out to ensure maximum comfort.

An unexpected pleasant stay here at the Fox Hotel in Istanbul. A short 10 min walk from Taksim Square.
Upon check in there was a bit of confusion with our rooms and bedding configurations, but this was quickly rectified with ease and pleasure by the general manager Busra, who was a great help for our little group in recommending sights and activities to undertake in Istanbul.
In saying that, most of the staff at the hotel were so helpful and hardworking and made our stay very comfortable. A huge credit to this hidden gem.
Breakfast was fantastic and was on a made to order basis as opposed to a buffet situation. You could even opt to have your breakfast delivered to your room if you wanted at no extra cost. This applies also to unlimited coffee, tea and water.
Overall, would definitely recommend and would return if we had the chance.

The rooms are spacious (standard double rooms), absolutely fine for a hotel in a central location in Taksim in a busy area. The rooms have a comfortable queen-size bed, which was absolutely enough for us as a couple. The rooms are clean, even places that don't catch the eye were free of dust. The safe and TV worked well. The tv however, was a little older. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, almost like a family. Especially the clerk with the short red hair (i think her name was Mercia) did a really good job with check in and check out and Mehmet at the reception can speak 3 languages fluently and was also very friendly and answered all our questions. Breakfast is ok.
Only "negative" part is that the hotel is at a hill, so when leaving the hotel towards taksim square you have to walk uphills that can be a bit annoying on warm days, aber it's not that hard and normal in istanbul. So not a real negative point.
