If you want peace and quiet hotel to rest after a full day of walking, for sure that's not the right place.
My husband unfortunately booked this room without checking reviews because it was close to the Galata Tower. The location was great but there was something we didn't expect.
Let's start with the room being very small, the sink is in the room and that causes a really bad musky smell. The shower is with the toilet and is not divided so the water goes everywhere. The sink faucet is also loose. The walls were thin and you could hear people in the other rooms. Additionally, the worst part was the noise from outside. I couldn't sleep for 3 nights because the noise didn't stop outside until 4 am. Cars, people, and motorcycles beeping all the time, music was loud, and doors slamming, so pretty much it wasn't a pleasurable experience at all.
**** There are no views of the tower from your room like they advertise****
Keep in mind >>> The hotel doesn't provide water each day for your room and also they don't recommend to use to water from the sink to brush your teeth.
The place did feel safe at least in our room.
We had a really hard time finding anything on the TV in English.
The air conditioner was turned off all the time.
The safe worked but wasn't bolted down so anyone could take it from your room if they wanted it with your items inside.

Great value. Very close to the tower.
Friendly staff.
I stayed in a budget room. No storage space. Is very small for 2 people.

Great hotel in the heart of the Galata Tower area. There's a lot to do right outside of the hotel! The entrance to the hotel is inside a coffee shop, so that's a little confusing but there is someone at the help-desk 24 hrs/day. Rooms are nice, but ours had a bit of mold on the bathroom ceiling that needs some attention. We also had some issues with our shower head working. There is quite a bit of street noise that can be heard in the room as well but we had a street-view so that's to be expected. Overall it was a nice experience and the price was great! I would visit again!

"Duo Galata Hotel rocks! Seriously, our stay was amazing from start to finish. The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The rooms were comfy and stylish, plus the view was killer! And let's talk about breakfast – so yummy! The location is perfect for exploring Galata, with cool shops and cafes just steps away. If you're looking for a top-notch stay in Istanbul, Duo Galata Hotel is where it's at. Five stars all the way!"

The hotel matched the photos in all senses. I had no surprises at all. The staff are sooo lovely and assist the minute you need support!
The room was great! I had a good time in there, the walls between rooms are slightly thin heads up. For those who like intense water pressure, theirs isn’t strong but it’s also not weak. It’s just in the middle!

Amazing experience with Cihan. He was a really good host and very welcoming. He had quick service and would complete maintenance right away. His Airbnb was clean, well equipped and provided all necessities.

Amazing host. Cihan also hosted an Airbnb and we have never been so happy. He has a coffee shop with amazing ice lattes. Super kind, super responsive, and helpful. 10/10 service

Staffs are wonderful. Always here to help . Thank you for the madame who looked after our rooms . It's in the middle of the main attraction. I could see the galata tower by my window, 2 mins walk . You come out , it's all there . Best hotel I have ever been .

Worst service ever. Outdoors temperature -1° asked for a taxi. The arrogant guy from the bar smiled and said: we don't call taxis.
Note to business owners: keep that staff. Then worry about your reservations and why you are not full.
