Best view to ever wish for in Istanbul, few steps from the beautiful Galata tower, two blocks away from Taksim street, 15 minutes walk from Karakoy bridge ( if you continue walking over the bridge you find yourself in Eminonu ). For the amateurs of exploring and not afraid of hiking this is THE spot. Cleaning service 10/10

I would 100% recommend this hotel when staying in Istanbul. I missed my flight and all places were booked so ended up stranded for the evening but booked this hotel and came here before my reservation. The people who worked there were so kind and helpful and truly cared for me during my bad experience. I truly can’t thank them enough for their hospitality. When I got my room it was clean, cozy, and just what I needed. It is so close to all of the main bars, restaurants, and shops, which was very nice and easily walkable as well. The lobby is also a coffee shop which was nice to relax in. I would definitely stay here again. Really great experience with really wonderful people. Can’t recommend this place enough!

I had an amazing stay at Duo Galata in Istanbul! The location is perfect, just steps from Galata Tower and close to great cafes and shops. The hotel is stylish and cozy, with clean, comfortable rooms and a beautiful view of the city. Berk, the owner, made my stay extra special with his warm hospitality and great local tips. I can’t recommend this place enough and look forward to returning!

Well furnished hotel ..located in one of the most beautiful places in istanbul where u can walk easily to galata tower and enjoy shopping in the area .. near to many places ..busy day time and quite calm sleeping vibes as well .. colorful hotel .
Price was affordable.
Food availability and great views and hospitality..special thanks and appreciation to Mr. MURAT for all support.

We stayed in the budget room and it was very small but very clean. Fantastic location and the staff are available 24/7 and are very friendly. The reception is inside a coffeeshop, and although some of the previous reviews stated there being lots of noise at night, we stayed at Duo over a weekend and didn’t hear much noise at all (granted we were on the 5th floor). The water pressure was a little low and there were limited electrical sockets but other than that we were really satisfied with our stay (for two people). This place has great value for the price you pay and I would definitely recommend it for the great location, great value and helpful staff.

If you want peace and quiet hotel to rest after a full day of walking, for sure that's not the right place.
My husband unfortunately booked this room without checking reviews because it was close to the Galata Tower. The location was great but there was something we didn't expect.
Let's start with the room being very small, the sink is in the room and that causes a really bad musky smell. The shower is with the toilet and is not divided so the water goes everywhere. The sink faucet is also loose. The walls were thin and you could hear people in the other rooms. Additionally, the worst part was the noise from outside. I couldn't sleep for 3 nights because the noise didn't stop outside until 4 am. Cars, people, and motorcycles beeping all the time, music was loud, and doors slamming, so pretty much it wasn't a pleasurable experience at all.
**** There are no views of the tower from your room like they advertise****
Keep in mind >>> The hotel doesn't provide water each day for your room and also they don't recommend to use to water from the sink to brush your teeth.
The place did feel safe at least in our room.
We had a really hard time finding anything on the TV in English.
The air conditioner was turned off all the time.
The safe worked but wasn't bolted down so anyone could take it from your room if they wanted it with your items inside.

Great value. Very close to the tower.
Friendly staff.

Great hotel in the heart of the Galata Tower area. There's a lot to do right outside of the hotel! The entrance to the hotel is inside a coffee shop, so that's a little confusing but there is someone at the help-desk 24 hrs/day. Rooms are nice, but ours had a bit of mold on the bathroom ceiling that needs some attention. We also had some issues with our shower head working. There is quite a bit of street noise that can be heard in the room as well but we had a street-view so that's to be expected. Overall it was a nice experience and the price was great! I would visit again!
