The old world's charm. Really enjoyed staying here, the room had a view of Golden Horn (and the sunsets from the rooftop terrace were breathtaking). Staff extremely helpful, best Turkish coffee served by the barman. Areas for improvement: furniture, showers, breakfast. This historic hotel could use a face-lift. It's precious.

The room is very small, the bathroom was not really clean and it was dirty on the floor, the air conditioning doesnt work that good , I put it at max and it still wasnt giving much air. The breakfast is poor of food , it doesnt really have variations at all, and the food quality is questionable.

Enjoyed my stay in this unique hotel. It's a budget hotel which will give you basic amenities and a average breakfast. The benefits are it is accessible to most of the attractions and makes commute easy.

The furniture and decoration of hotel seems a little bit old. I did not experience the rooms. But the terrace is awesome. A unique experience of Haliç scenery. Particularly great to have a couple of drinks at the sunset. The prices for drinks are affordable for Istanbul. Cocktails are around 8-10 euros. Service is not the best yet acceptable for the price, location and the view.

I love the Londra Buyuk hotel for many years. Its so beautiful inside, as a museum (outside also). I feel myself as a princess from 19 century here.. Agata Christy liked also this hotel😍. Its a famous historical place. Location of hotel is perfect and close to everything - shops, best restaurants, museums, Istiklal street, Galata Tower, metro, etc...The best friendly personal here; nice rooms, breakfast.. I can stay here inside & on beautiful terrace with Golden horn view all day long.🥰 No need go outside, everything is so harmonic here. Londra Buyuk hotel is my big love ang happiness.🌹🌹🌹🔥

This hotel was opened in 1892, built as a house and then converted. Semprini is mentioned as the architect who has built several places at Beyoğlu.

When you go up the terrace, shall be bewildered by the panoramic view of the Golden Horn.

The hotel is more like a motel. It’s pretty run down and disgusting! It was dirty and there were stains everywhere! Only saving grace is the location is good and they have an elevator so it’s a good place if you just need a place to store your stuff while you go out

we really loved our stay at the hotel, the staff was great, very helpful.
our room was a bit old, but clean. it didn't have air conditioning or it wasn't the most modern. but the rest made up for that.
absolutely beautiful reception, wonderful terrace. It's like staying in a London palace or museum.
excellent breakfast.
please leave a good tip to the workers. They deserve it.

This place was great. The architecture and furnishings are historical and romantic. My room was lovely and had a panoramic view of the Golden Horn. The concierge and staff were very kind and helpful. Bonus: friendly, pampered pet parrot in the lobby and several more on the roof terrace! This hotel has lots of style, character, and comfort at a very reasonable price! Would definitely book in here again!

It was a horrible night we had! We booked for four nights, after the first night we decided that we couldn't stay here any longer.
The hotel has not a "old hotel vibe". It is really old, it stinks disgusting and is dirty everywhere. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed i have ever had. The bathroom was like a scene in a horror movie. You will think that this hotel never has been cleaned. The room smelled like old tobacco, you could tell that they smoked in the room. The service was not friendly, we wanted our money back, the only thing the receptionist said we should write to our booking website. No help, no apology, nothing.
Don't visit this hotel! Most of the reviews are fake! You will have a horrible experience. The surroundings to the hotel are very bad! It is a very bad atmosphere and the whole night it was too loud! We only could sleep like 2 or 3 hours. A nightmare!
