9/10 Rooms were ottoman style (so maybe a bit outdated for some but we found it very clean & perfectly comfortable) - the rooms were cleaned everyday & they also left us fresh water which was nice…. our room was on the front tram side so it was quite noisy at night … very local to everything like sultanahmet & even the tram station ….
1/10. the breakfast was included however the staff in the restaurant were not very accommodating and i definitely do not recommend the food either 👎🏽 no variety & the staff don’t care to accommodate you, they’d rather serve people who were coming from elsewhere as it was a restaurant open to public too - we barely ate anything the first day & decided to have breakfast at other places instead for the rest of the visit
(This was just the restaurant staff that were like this - the hotel staff were more than helpful to us)

If you’re looking for a very low-key, cutesy hotel in the heart of Istanbul’s architectural and tourist hotspots at a good price, this is your place!
We stayed here for a week, and here are my insights about the hotel:
• Customer Management:
Our needs were thoroughly met. The reception was quick to respond and incredibly generous. I’d personally recommend the receptionist named Uggy. He ensured a great stay for me and my family. He placed our rooms next to one another upon learning it was a reunion. He met all our needs, whether it was a call for water or suggestions on where to go and what to do. His generous and sociable personality made our stay at the Lalahan Hotel truly memorable—not to mention his excellent English!
• Room Service:
We experienced a water shortage in the bathroom on the first day, which was a bit of a bummer since we had just arrived from the airport. Other than that, our rooms were cleaned daily without any misplacement of personal belongings or disruptions. Although the rooms weren’t necessarily spacious, they included a queen-sized bed (or separate beds depending on the type of room), a TV (which wasn’t very useful for us since it didn’t have Netflix or international satellite channels), a closet, a large mirror and table for makeup, and a fully equipped bathroom with a shower and all essential amenities.
• Breakfast Included:
The breakfast offered was definitely our favorite part of the day! Since we were on a mini-vacation, the hotel restaurant’s decision to keep the breakfast buffet open until 10:30 was a lifesaver. The staff were incredibly sweet—my heart goes out to them! Not to forget the fantastic tea, which was personally the highlight of my entire trip.
• Location:
The hotel’s prime location was a significant advantage. Everything was close by, from restaurants and baklava stores to cafés, currency exchange offices, sightseeing spots, shopping areas, and the sea. Even public transport was incredibly convenient! By staying here, I’m sure it’ll take you at least half a week or more to fully explore the area and everything it has to offer.
• Price:
Compared to other accommodations in Istanbul, the value you get at this hotel makes it absolutely worth a shot!

I booked this hotel after canceling my ottoman legacy, as this was the same area I wanted to stay.I was not disappointed.I wasn'texpecting such clean rooms to be honeat as it is ahotel in very central location. The guy who checked me in Oggy was super helpful. Not only did he help me with my bags,he also upgraded my room to a junior suite. He was very professional. My check in was smooth.Breakfast was average, not a lot of variety for a turkish breakfast, but again very clean resturant. Room service did my room everyday with out me asking.Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and give it a 10 out of 10. Will definitely use again. THANKYOU !!

Special thanks to the receptionist named Uggy. He speaks English very well and was very attentive to everything during our stay.
He made sure we were well looked after and gave us all the information regarding places to visit and food recommendations. The hotel is located perfectly next to all the main attractions and it is also a short distance to the metro which is very useful.

The rooms are very small@The sound of the tram doesn't let you sleep until after 12 o'clock@Very good location close to Hagia Sophia and Iminono Bosphorus@How can a 4-star hotel not have paste and brush?

I am visiting Istanbul for the first time to celebrate my younger sister's 6th birthday, and we are staying at the Lalahan Hotel. It's my first visit here - my parents, sister, brother, and I are all thrilled to be in such a beautiful city. The hotel has been a major part of our wonderful experience. What stands out the most is the incredible hospitality provided by the hotel manager, Yagmur. She's been wonderfully kind and helpful, making our stay extra special. The hotel itself is charming, with comfortable rooms and excellent services, ensuring a memorable stay for us all. We would highly recommend Lalahan Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul and looking for a warm, welcoming place to stay. Thank you, Yagmur and the Lalahan Hotel team, for making our visit unforgettable!
