I have a bad experience. I have booked 2 nights but I ran away after just 1 hour..
My room was quite dirty, but the worst is that even with air condition it was almost impossibile to breath inside the room for the humidity/lack of air. I went here in the first days of June, I can't imagine how the conditions will be in July and August..
A part from that there was no privacy at all. You can hear the people clambing the stairs from your room. There is a window of a house 1 meter far in front of the room. No privacy at all.
The host was welcoming and the position is not bad, but the conditions in general are very bad

When we arrived we were "impressed" by the poor neighbourhood but it felt very safe and people were friendly. The hotel is nice and clean and the owners are really unbelievably friendly.

Great place to be at! I went with my Husband there. The rooms were so clean and big you feel like home there because the people there are super friendly and helpful and they deserve it. You can feel free to book with them. :) Thank you for everything Masur Bey and Ms.Gunizs :)

Best hotel in Istanbul! If you’re looking for something where you feel like home you should feel free to book The Nar hotel. The hotel is so good and so clean! And very near to the Public Transport station Tourist Attractions like Aya Sofia, Taskin Squre , Sulten Ahmet Mosque and other are very easy to reach. There are alot of eating options near to the hotel. You can get a breakfast also at the hotel and sit at the Terrace with the Marmara Sea view. The hotel owner Mansur Bey and his Wife are so so kind and helpful they helped me a-lot to discover Istanbul and whenever and wherever i wanted to go. Mr. Mansur even arranged me and my wife Cappadocia tour with Hot Balloon, ATV Ride, A guided Cappadocia Tour which I’m very thankful to Mr. Mansur aboutg. Please book with them they deserve it and you wont be disappointed. Thank you so much Mansur Bey and his wife. We’re morw than satisfied! And surely not our last time here. Whenever we’re in Istanbul we will come here ! :)

I had a very bad experience with this hotel. The rooms are very small, dirty, and badly maintained. The sink was broken, the shower as well. Instead a double bed, we found two twin bed pushed together, which was very uncomfortable. You can hear the noises through the walls. You can even hear plp claiming the stairs

Very small room, there was washing machines and cleaning area just infront of our window. So you can't open window and at midnight you might see some lights switching on outside your window and person moving there. You won't feel safe to keep any curtain open so basically you won't get any sunlight during day and even at night you can't open your curtains.
But you want just room to put your luggage and slip at night, this might work well due to location and price

I stayed there last November and I enjoyed the stay. The place is very calm. Everything was prepared prior to my arrival. I even requested a very early check in, like at 6 Am, and it was given to me free of charge. All is good at least in the room where is stayed. A lady would come clean and change the bed sheets, towels. The bathroom is fully equipped. I also had an AC that was on 24/7 during my stay in winter. I gentle man who takes care of the guests is also kind and helpful. The place of the hotel is very accessible and is near A lot of tourist attractions like Aya Sofia. Also, and very importantly, it is near the sea. I would go there everyday in the morning. Couldn't be happier. I stayed there for 3 days and they were the best. However, make sure you have some cash with you to pay of you are booking through ebooking. Also, they don't serve breakfast ovoverthere so you have got to look for a place to have breakfast on your own .But no worries, there are plenty of places over there.

We were traveling so we needed a night to sleep on our way, so we choose NAR Hotel. At the price we paid i say it's a very good accommodation unit, very clean and comfortable. Worth every penny!

This is what you get in the quad room in the last floor , and i only stayed one day with my family and i left ,they didn’t bother their self to refund any amount of money and i contacted booking customer service and the reply that the hotel doesn’t answer them back regarding my complain .
So basically like the pictures you see also the tv remote was missing and only one electric socket location in all the room and no water kettle as in the picture on booking website so they put false pictures with false info. Plus food leftovers under the bed and wall skirting ripped off in some places !!
