Orient Mintur Hotel

The staff were warm and welcoming. The rooms were equipped with a tv,( I found two channels in English, 26 (or 28) and one in the 40+, it was world news but English. They had hundreds of channels so there may be more but I didn't continue my search.) air conditioning, coffee/tea, refrigerator, safe and a fully equipped bathroom with shower and hair dryer. Rooms were very clean. The lobby is beautiful, filled with handmade artifacts, displayed. The location allowed us parking. It's location is in the same as all shops and cafes. Very convenient. It's a 6 minute drive to the boat tours( approximately 25 minute walk) A free buffet breakfast is offered each morning in the beautiful dining area. No smoking in the hotel but they offer an outdoor area to smoke. They have elevators. There is a rooftop view offered, but no children should go, as it is not an actual lounge area or protected. I don't care for heights, so I did not go. I would highly recommend this hotel. If I return to Istanbul, I will stay at no other. They will also arrange any tours you want to experience, at a discounted rate.

We booked a bedroom with three separate beds, which is great that they had that option! It was a simple hotel that gave us a positive experience. It was clean, our room smelled good, comfortable beds, and the manager was very friendly and responsive to our needs. The hotel is also conveniently located in the city. Good value!

Very good hotel. Decent WiFi and the rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels and toiletries replaced daily. Small fridge in every room. Other bigger hotels locally have bad reviews but Orient Mintur was a decent hotel considering some of the bad reviews of others.

Rooms were a little on the old/beat up side. Fairly clean though. Ultimately, for the price, it was very good. We had a nice balcony and view. Breakfast was definitely good, substantial, and loved that they had a coffee machine too. Service and location were top notch. I think I saw reviews mentioning noise issues, but we had no concerns there at all. Very comfortable and relaxing stay for a few nights to see the city.

Comfortable, friendly hotel.

Spent a week here with my wife, very clean rooms, the staff were nice, they offered us free tea and coffee everyday we would go back to the hotel at night.

Manager was extremely helpful giving us hints on how to save both time and money touring Istanbul.
