Great location, next to the main square of Istanbul, Sultanahmet square. Very well positioned, acceptable rooms, wonderful personnel.
Avoid the rooftop restaurant with terrace. It is the same place where breakfast is served in the morning. We paid enormous bill for some shrimps and salad that where from supermarket, frozen. Nothing close to justify the price. The view from the restaurant is ok but nothing special.
The view from the room was the neighbors wall, a few feet away. No sunlight. The room was dirty when we arrived but they cleaned it next day. They do not use the vacuum and even if they mop the floor, in a matter of minutes the floor is dirty again, and everything is covered with dust. Can live with it, but not like it.

The hotel might have a beautiful view from the rooftop however, there was a lack communication when it came from transportation. They did NOT accept credit cards or Turkish lira, which left me running to an ATM and trying several different ones to withdraw in Euros. I wish they had told me that from the numerous emails I sent them before arriving.

Great hotel in the centre of the old town area of Istanbul. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are basic but have everything needed. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the rooftop restaurant has a great view of the Blue Mosque.

Rooms are quite small, you leave the room and come back and the room is sniffling hot to find out front desk monitors when you leave the room by you key card and shuts off all electricity to the room! I did not appreciate my drinks in the fridge were hot and the breakfast wasn't worth it. It's only good for a night stop and a great location to everything. Stayed just 1 night.

Cute and conveniently located hotel with VERY pleasant and helpful staff!
That said -- the rooms are small, the beds loud and uncomfortable, and if you stay on the fourth floor (as I did) the sounds of the restaurant directly above (chairs being pulled out and pushed in constantly) are loud, disturbing, and seemingly interminable. If I had been staying here more than three nights I would have had to ask if I could change rooms - it was that bad. I still think it was a good deal given the price -- but I'm glad I wasn't spending too long here.

Location, price, staff politeness, cleanliness everything is excellent. The room service is quick and call them anytime of the day and they are on it within 5-10 minutes.

Hotel really nice and the restaurant on the roof terrace offers a wonderful view of the Blue Mosque and the Marmara Sea. It's close to the main sites and easy to walk to. Our room was cleaned well and the breakfast had a lot of choices. Hotel staff was very friendly.

The room was clean. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was very good. The view from the breakfast restaurant was excellent. The location was very close to all major places we wanted to visit. I would highly recommend this place.

We were staying at this hotel with my mother during mid-october. It is absolutely fabulous and the location of the hotel is perfect. Very close to all the main landmarks. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Also, the fact that we had a shuttle bring us directly to the airport made it a lot easier. The turkish breakfast was a delight. The terasse has an amazing view to Bosphorus. Overall, the room was not so big but the bedding was really comfortable and clean. They clean the rooms really well. Definitely, I would suggest this hotel to others and I would be glad to return.

We really enjoyed Perula hotel. Very good location and excellent service. That was a great value for that money. Also there is an amazing terrace at the roof for a breakfast.
