Peyk Hotel is in a great location, so close to Sultanahmet and many of the main cultural attractions in Istanbul, it is also a few minutes walk from Çemberlıtaş tram station which gives easier and wider access to the city.
The room was cosy and comfortable with all amenities I could need such as a kettle, safe and refrigerator, the bathroom was well laid out and clean (I loved the shower, nice and hot and powerful enough). The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating, always welcoming when returning to the hotel. The buffet breakfast has so many options and flavours to try every morning, I would say it caters to every taste and requirements, the dinning room staff were also courteous and helpful.
There were only a couple of minor points that could be mentioned about the hotel room itself, one being that there were only three clothes hangers in the wardrobe (I'm sure they would've given us more had we asked though) and there didn't seem to be any side lighting for reading in bed, it was either main lighting or nothing, but not really an issue at all.
A couple of times we came back to the hotel in the late evening after exploring the city, the maids had been in to clean the room some hours before and opened the door to the balcony to let fresh air in, however, our visit was in November so the room was really cold when we got back (this only happened a few times though).
The Peyk Hotel is an all-round great place to be and to start your Istanbul adventure from, I would certainly stay there again were I to return to the city.

Be careful with the hotel room safe!
My girlfriend believes that €100 was taken from her envelope of money that she left in there.

I consider myself lucky to book this very hotel. It exceeds my expectations by huge margin. Central location, clean and quiet rooms, excellent service, great breakfast. I will definitely rebook it for my next Istanbul trip.

We had an amazing 4-night stay here. The staff were really helpful, and a special shout-out goes to Abu Bakr and Yunus, who were always available whenever we needed something. It was also great to have a café as part of the hotel, and the coffee was excellent. The breakfast offered a wide selection of traditional Turkish items, with slight variations each day.
As for some areas of improvement: I think the hotel could benefit from a ramp at the entrance to accommodate wheelchairs and pushchairs. Additionally, while breakfast runs from 7:30 to 10:30, we typically ate around 9:30-10:00 and noticed that some of the main items and wholemeal breads were often finished by that time. It would be great if staff could ensure these items are restocked until the end of breakfast service. Lastly, we noticed that the bathroom door had a slight gap, which affected privacy a bit—this could be something to look into.
Overall, it was a great stay, and we would certainly come back again, especially for the good price & location (7 min walk from Hagia Sofia & Blue mosque as well as easy access to the tram station)

Really nice hotel, and excellent breakfast. We had a room on the top floor and it was quiet with a nice view. Service was ok, not the friendliest but everything we needed. Location is spot on for old town.

Staff and breakfast service were nice. Only thing I wish was my room was a bit bigger but my overall experience was great. The hotel being close to Çemberlitaş station was a huge plus and made my trip around the city very comfortable.

Very cozy and atmospheric hotel. Fast, polite service, pleasant prices, friendly staff. Delicious breakfasts. Very convenient location - the hotel is close to the main attractions. The place is busy and noisy, but it is quiet at night. There are many bistros and restaurants close to the hotel. This is the second time I have stayed here and I am happy with the service. Excellent value for money. Recommend.

This place exceeded my expectations!
Location is in the middle of old Sultan Ahmed city
room with a little balcony was very pretty.
Breakfast is delicious although it closes early!

Great service, nice rooms and you can you can request daily room cleaning. Less than 5 mins to Blue Mosque. Breakfast could have been better.

Wonderful hotel, modern, clean, amazing breakfast and so central with everything that you would possibly need.
