Fantastic location for all the major sights in Istanbul. Mustafa was wonderful on front desk, a warm, helpful person. Shower and beds excellent. Great restaurant Rainbow Fish directly opposite. Would be happy to return.

The moment I came in the welcoming was pleasant. The location is so convenient by everything you would want to do while in Istanbul. The breakfast options were okay. But overall I did not have any complaints, very comfortable.

The hotels location is very good. It takes 5 minutes to blue mosque and Hagia Sophia. After three more minutes you arrive at tram station „Sultanahmet“. The staff is very friendly and polite. They changed our room because of a clapping noise. The rooms (at least on the second floor) interior are nostalgic and beautiful decorated and are very clean. Nevertheless the beds are very uncomfortable! Your back will definitely miss your bed. Furthermore there is no fan in the bathroom (no tips for cleaning, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner). The TV is outdated (no smart tv). Besides that some guests can be pretty noisy sometimes and you will hear that for sure since the building is not the newest. The breakfast starts at 8 o’clock and ends at 10 o’clock which was way too early for us. 11 o’clock would be great. They offer an open buffet and the variety of the dishes is more than enough and tasty. You can also have free tee/ coffee (nothing special) and cakes during the day at the breakfast area of the hotel. The cakes are handmade, fresh and very yummy. Unfortunately the breads were never fresh and some dishes, which are meant to be eaten warm, were cold. It can’t be that hard to keep foods warm for at least the 2 hours they offer breakfast. In conclusion we can say that we would recommend you the hotel if you don’t mind the noise, your body likes a hard bed (you gonna feel the springs) and you want a central located hotel with friendly, good mannered personnel. We stayed at this place for 7 nights.

We had a very beautiful 5-day stay at the hotel. The room was lovely, the location is amazing!
Mustafa, at the front desk was very helpful and attentive. Reza in the breakfast area genuinely tried to attend to the needs of the guests.
The internet was a bit spotty at times, not sure if that is all across Istanbul or specific to this location. Having said that, Mustafa did try his best to address this issue.
The only much-needed improvement is a large fan and/or air conditioning in the reception area. It was extremely hot and stuffy at the front-desk. I am not sure how the people behind the desk manage to stay cheerful in spite of the stifling working condition.

Hotel base is near all the amenities historical sites buses trams shops returants just a short walk. Sari Konak is a lovely hotel with very good amosphere staff very attentive and nothing is too much. Breakfast is excellent. Rooms are very clean and comfortable I would definately recomend a stay at this hotel as you would not be disappointed. I will be returning in the future.

If you're looking to see the historic sites in the old city then this location cannot be beat. We've stayed here three times in 15 years and it's consistently a good experience. Also, the breakfast is the best in the neighborhood - most variety. Have never stayed there in a season when the roof terrace is open but it must be fabulous with that view of the blue mosque. Will be back.

I had a delightful stay at this charming hotel with its cozy ambiance. The staff's warmth and attentiveness added a personal touch, making me feel truly welcome. The highlight was the delicious breakfast, offering a variety of options to start the day on a high note. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Love this hotel. The interior is elegant and chic plus the staff are very helpful especially Serdar and Oktay. P.s pets are not allowed.

Great location 1 street away from the blue mosque and the Hagia Sofia Museum. Tram is close by short walk. This quaint hotel has all the amenities you would expect (except tea coffee making facilities) breakfast is a standard turkish set up where by its more like a continental buffet - salads breads and spreads and cold meats and cereal. If you get a chance go to the roof for a good view of the mosque. Would recommend and will stay here again due to the proximity to all the major attractions.
