It used to be good. I’m American with a Turkish wife, I love Turkey. We used to come here because the service and food was really good. Last time we came the service was terrible, the food was average, and we paid $340. I’m really shocked at how much it costs for very little food and bad food. Sad it’s went downhill. If you’re in Ankara go to Anason it’s the best in Turkeys

It is very unfortunate that such a beautiful place with good food is staffed by rude, unprofessional staff who do not have the slightest etiquette of hospitality. I went today in the afternoon to make a reservation for dinner the next day and to book a night's stay, but the receptionist (the bald man) treated me extremely rudely. I felt like I was begging him to accept my reservation. I hope this place owner reads my comment. Every month I used to visit this place more than once, but my feet will never set foot in this place again

We wanted to book again as we really enjoyed last time. But unluckily, they don't accept reservations if there is no female friend with you. I honestly wouldn't expect such a ridicilous attitude from a business which is serving as a restaurant in the heart of Kadikoy.

It is important to remember that everyone should be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their gender, and that discrimination in any form is unacceptable.

Your stay in this hotel will depend on which building you stay.
If you stay in the main building the rooms are nicer and larger but there is more noise from the restaurant downstairs. The music is nice when the singers are there.

Also, there are gaps at the bottom of the doors so all the smoke (from the restaurant/downstairs) goes into the rooms making it hard to breathe at night if cigarette smoke bothers you.
If you stay in the adjacent buildings, the rooms are smaller and the showers leak water onto the floor because they are not properly sealed. Also, you will not have air conditioner and/or heat since the rooms are not equipped with it. The noise is still audible from the restaurants outside but, a little less.

It's in a convenient location on a convenient street. The rooms are clean. No elevator.

Members of the staff are very nice or at least pleasant enough. The owner/s could be ...mmm nicer.
Also, the owners 'request' a good review hence possibly all the 4 and 5 star reviews. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that but, that would explain the higher amount of 4 and 5 star reviews.
