Best location, few minutes walk to Blue Mosque, Agya Sofia, Tram stop and other tourist spot.
We got the view of Blue Mosque while breakfast.
Cars/taxis can not drop you and your luggage in front the hotel.
The room quite small.
The lift was very small.
Breakfast was good.

I had an amazing stay at The Star Holiday Hotel in Fatih, Istanbul! From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming and kind. The staff went above and beyond, even helping us arrange a seamless transfer to the airport when we departed.

The rooms were spotless, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable—perfect for resting after long days of exploring. The breakfast was simple yet delicious, and a special *shukran* to Zainab for her incredible cakes and cookies! They tasted like home and brought back cherished memories of my grandmother's baking.

The location is absolutely unbeatable. The Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia are just a short walk away, and the tram station is conveniently located less than 200 meters from the hotel. It’s the ideal spot for anyone looking to experience the best of Istanbul without breaking the bank.

I highly recommend The Star Holiday Hotel for its affordability, warm hospitality, and prime location. I can’t wait to return!

From November 29th to December 5th, 2024, I had the pleasure of staying at Star Holiday Hotel in Sultanahmet, Istanbul. This experience was more than just accommodation—it was a gateway to Istanbul’s historic charm, made perfect by exceptional service and thoughtful hospitality.

Unbeatable Location
The hotel’s location is a dream for any traveler. Nestled in Sultanahmet, it places you steps away from the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace. Waking up to the sounds and sights of Istanbul’s historic heart felt magical. Whether exploring the bustling streets or enjoying a serene evening stroll, everything you need is just a few steps away.

Spotless Cleanliness
Cleanliness is a top priority here. My room was immaculate every single day, thanks to the meticulous care of Mrs. Sermin, the room cleaner and organizer. Her dedication to maintaining a welcoming space, from fresh linens to perfectly arranged amenities, truly enhanced my stay.

Personalized Guest Experience
The staff at Star Holiday Hotel goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel valued. Zeyneb, the reservation manager, was exceptionally professional, making the booking process effortless and personalized. Omar at the front desk reception was a highlight of my stay—always cheerful, informative, and ready with thoughtful recommendations that made exploring Istanbul so much easier.

The dining experience on the 4th floor was equally remarkable. Irem Sude Şengül and Mehmat greeted every guest with warmth and attentiveness, ensuring breakfast was a pleasant and satisfying start to the day. Their friendly smiles and efficient service made dining feel like a personalized experience, not just a routine meal.

Cozy Rooms and Small Elevators
While the rooms are compact, they are thoughtfully designed and meticulously maintained. If you’re traveling light or looking for a cozy, quiet space, the size will not hinder your comfort. The elevators are also quite small, which may require a bit of patience during peak hours, but this minor inconvenience is easily outweighed by the exceptional service and comfort the hotel provides.

Location was amazing, all the major landmarks are within walking distance.
East access to restaurants & public transport.
Breakfast terrace had an amazing view.
But breakfast need more variety !!
Room was very small but comfy & reasonably clean. However, the room really really need a major makeover !!
Overall it was a very good stay and value for money.
Highly recommended....

We stayed for 3 nights at this property and it was a pleasant experience. Our highlight was the location that is a walking distance to every tourist spots in Istanbul, we even can enjoy breakfast with a view of Blue Mosque and Haghia Sophia Mosque. The only downside was the tiny room size and bathroom, not to mention the cramped and shaky elevator. Other than that, we were satisfied. I would definitely reccomend this property to everyone coming to Istanbul.

Best hotel in a convenient tourist location in Istanbul. You can view Sultanamet mosque from the breakfast room. Breakfast is awesome - varieties of Turkish breakfast. I stayed there for 8 nights. We were given a spacious room. Room service was great. I recommend this hotel.
