Our 4-day stay in Tashkonak hotel was lovely and joyful. The rooms were quiet and clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly and showed tremendous level of hospitality.
It is in a walking distance from main attractions and public transportation, but still in a quiet corner of Fatih.

Budget friendly hotel had a pleasent stay and the location is very near to most of the tourist attraction. All the staffs were friendly and polite. Special mention to Receptionist Sardar, he gave clear guidance and information about the areas to visit and tips and tricks where to save money. For me overall experience was very good I would prefer booking this hotel again on my next visit😁.

Exceptional Stay in a Perfect Location
I had an incredible stay at Tashkonak Hotel. The location couldn’t be better—everything was within easy reach, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. The staff at the hotel were absolutely amazing. Their hospitality and attention to detail truly made a difference. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Excellent location, only a few minutes walk from sultanahmet. Comfortable rooms, amazing view from top level. Be aware there are no lifts though.
Decent breakfast included, and very helpful staff. Highly recommended!

I found this hotel based on google map reviews myself, and i m so glad we did so. The hotel staff are absolutely the best . Very helpful, honest and resourceful.

Loved the location but not much the hotel. No daily waters in the room. Breakfast was limited and the room was tiny. Instead of getting a queen and a twin we got two twins put together and one twin. The bathroom was super small also we had a bad smell in our bathroom the whole time of our stay.

I have been in Turkey many times but never enjoyed a staying place as i did in Tashkonak hotel , every single person in the hotel makes you feel you are dealing with your a family member. The only difficulty i faced is the elevator, due to old age of the hotel they don’t have an elevator, but as soon as i asked to replace the room they did for me with an upgrade without asking for payment difference, so if you are not will to use the stairs ask in your booking to book a ground rooms. Rooms are clean and the Service is fast and very good. Brake fast is simple and delicious. The decoration of the hotel makes feel like you are living in an old movie, loved it really. The location is amazing located near to every thing grocery, shopping area, sea, restaurants, bazar, walking views…etc

Best location for a hotel, a few things wrong with one bathroom, no shower door and broken showerhead but apart from that great hotel. There was a kettle in our room but no cups? But it wasn’t much of an inconvenience. Very close to the blue mosque and ayasofya. Staff were very nice.

Please avoid this hotel. There are many better ones in this area. First there is no kettle in the room. I booked for 3 nights. By second day the complimentary bottled water was not replenished. I thought the housekeeping had missed our. By the third day there we have consumed both bottles of water. When I asked for two bottles the hotels charged for them, saying that only two bottles are free, regardless of the number of nights of stay. I think this hotel owner is sick in the mind or unethical. One of the reasons I dislike visiting Turkey.
