**CONS**
They don't allow entry in the pool without a cap(which is of course good) but when asked for the price of the cap, The lady at the entrance told 150 Lira but when our tour guide asked, she mentioned 50 Lira. So they do treat foreigners differently.
Services are good
Its on an inclined road. It was very difficult to get out of car while drop off
We arrived to this hotel hopeful that we’d be able to explore and enjoy the surrounding areas. Unfortunately due to the standards at which the hotel holds itself, our stay was cut short.
Upon our arrival we were greeted at the front desk and escorted to our room, the manager who checked us in was very polite, helpful and welcoming, sadly the same could not be said about his colleagues. When we got to the room the view and room itself were stunning, the cleanliness was not. The floor and table surfaces were all covered in dust (maybe due to the windows being wide open), as well as the bedding and pillows. The bedding itself had multiple small stains on it that wouldn’t be seen unless looked for. On the floor there was hair and ash, from where I assume the cleaners just emptied out the ashtray into bin and didn’t bother replacing the bin or cleaning the table or ashtray. My sister has a severe dust allergy, in some serious circumstances she could be hospitalised. We went and explained this to Eray at reception and requested if a cleaner could be sent to our room to do a full clean and bedsheet change while we went out to the square, we were assured that everything would be taken care of. When we arrived back, the state of the room had not changed at all, save for the pillows being fluffed up. Again we went and complained to Eray, he was able to move us to a new room and told us that when the cleaner comes back in the morning we can move back to our initial room. Luckily our new room was much cleaner than the previous one, however throughout the night my sister was restless and woke up in the morning with painful puffy eyes. Once again we reported this back to reception and I asked what the update was on our room that was to be cleaned and was told that a family had already moved into it. After being assured that we could move back to that room, it became frustrating trying to communicate to the staff that we were told one thing and now told another. At this point we were speaking with Aladin, the manager for that day, and while he tried to move us to another different room we were fed up with the back and forth and decided to check out that day and find somewhere else. If a room is supposedly clean how did my sister get such a severe reaction to the so called “cleanliness”? Additionally on my bed in the new room there were multiple noticeable stain on the bedsheets, as well as obvious boogers on the wall next to my bed.
As an individual who works in the hotel industry myself, it is laughable that this hotel claims to be 4 stars when the quality of everything is no where near that standard.
As well as all of this, throughout the night music from the club up the road can be heard quite well, albeit muffled but still disturbing.
The staff also don’t take health conditions into consideration and were actually smirking when we were explaining the severity of said allergy. After experiencing all this I’m surprised to say we didn’t find any bed bugs either, that’s one plus.
Due to our unsavoury experience, I would not recommend staying at this hotel at all, especially if you’re bringing family or actually anyone for that matter.
The rooms are very small, but they are clean. I like the rooftop restaurant for breakfast. We went at the beginning of June and the weather was excellent for sitting outside on the rooftop to enjoy breakfast. Although, the food options for the breakfast are lacking I felt. A few more items should be added by the management. However, the restaurant staff is very nice and helpful.
Overall, it's a decent option for $100-$120 per night. But if you can afford to pay an additional $50 or so per night, then you can definitely find better options.
Edit: Thankfully Booking.com was supportive and I received my overcharge.
