Day 1 the bed was not comfortable. I kept itching myself as though there are bed bugs. Told the staff to clean, they just refilled the bathroom toiletry n took used cups. The bed was as is and they continue to say they cleaned. The breakfast spread wasn't great. They refused to replenish the water bottles or coffee or tea bags on Day 2 saying only Day 1 is free. They will argue with you to the point of being obnoxious. The location is perfect but for the location, neither the food nor the hotel is worth it. The staff are good except for that one front desk guy named yosomolo or yomolo..can't remember but he is on duty on the 17th July 2024.

It was a failed experience. The employees were helpful and kind, like the employee (Shafa), but the size, comfort and cleanliness of the rooms were completely unsatisfactory, so why do these rooms darken the hotel’s rating?

Decent hotel in a good location
(Can be quite loud). Tekin worked the front desk and was one of most helpful staff I’ve come across. Great guy!

1 star maximum. Dirty, not fresh bed linen (it seems that it has not been changed since previous customers).

The hotel staff at Tulip City Hotel in Istanbul has been AMAZING! All of them have been helpful and friendly.
Abdullah and Yilmaz have been EXCEPTIONAL! They both went far and beyond the job description of any hotel staff I’ve ever come across. I am a frequent traveler, having visited over 20 countries. These 2 young men not only told me about all the sites here but explained their history, way to get to each place, best places to eat and get Turkish coffee, even where to get a hair cut which I was very happy with. If they recommend something, take their advice seriously, they know what they’re talking about. I hope you find yourself fortunate enough to stay at the Tulip City Hotel, you won’t regret it. A hotel with average facilities, but excellent access; It is very close to Esteghlal Street and you only need to walk for one to two minutes to reach this street. The streets around the hotel are full of discos, bars and night clubs. The space of the hotel rooms is small and it is not recommended for daily stay and you can only count on it as a place to rest and sleep. Breakfast is complete and the quality of food and prepared meals is medium to high. In general, the hotel is not luxurious and updated, and probably two or three decades have passed since its construction, so you should not expect the advanced facilities and options of four or five star hotels. The security of the hotel is good and you can safely lock the door of your room in the morning and return to your room at night. In general, it is not the best choice, but it is not bad for a few days' stay in the tourist area near Esteghlal Street.

I've spent 6 days at the hotel with my friend, and I can honestly say that it was a great experience. First of all the location is perfect, it's near the metro station and a bus stop which makes visiting all the sites very easy. Second, the room was very nice, well cleaned, as well as the bathroom. Housekeeping came in everyday and made sure everything was clean and tide. Last, the staff was really friendly and really helpful, whenever there was an issue they would help immediately.
