The staff are unbelievably friendly. They're quite upbeat, and they try so hard to make you feel comfortable and safe. This is especially important in a city where not many people speak languages other than Turkish. They greet you each time you return, ask if you want something to drink, and then offer to help you figure out your plans (transportation, site seeing, restaurants, etc.). This is a big perk for the overwhelmed traveler who has landed in Istanbul without a plan. The room was a bit small but perfectly clean and comfortable. The hotel is also extremely well situated in the city, with immediate access to a tram stop in addition to good areas to walk around. Basically, this was the perfect place to stay for a couple of travelers who just wanted a safe, friendly, easy, comfortable spot to serve as a home base.

The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect, offering easy access to nearby attractions. the hospitality of this hotel is at the highest level. Thanks to every employee in this hotel, for helping in any situation. We arrived at 4:00 in the morning, they met us right away and checked us in within 5 minutes, when leaving they left our luggage until the evening, the guys from the hotel also offered to use the bathroom when we return for our luggage. The room is very clean, the furniture is not worn out, the air conditioning works great. The location is also ideal, 7 minutes to the Galataport embankment, 7 minutes to Taksim Square and Istiklal Street, the tram passing through the old city is almost in the yard. In general, I definitely recommend it, only pleasant impressions.

From the moment we arrived, Sam was there to greet us with a warm smile and a genuine willingness to help. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. One of the first things he did was assist us with purchasing tramway passes, making it easy for us to explore the city. He took the time to recommend the best restaurants, guiding us on what to order to truly enjoy the local cuisine. You could tell he truly cared about our experience.

Sam also played the role of a guide, providing us with invaluable tips on how to visit all the must-see sites in Istanbul. His enthusiasm for the city and its culture was contagious! What truly stood out was his dedication; he even woke up at 2:30 in the morning to help us with check-out, ensuring our luggage was taken care of and that we got to our taxi on time. This level of service is rare and deeply appreciated.

Every time we returned to the hotel, Sam would have Turkish coffee waiting for us, along with refreshing water, making us feel right at home. His attention to detail and kindness made our 13 days in Istanbul so much more enjoyable and stress-free.

I also want to commend the rest of the staff at Union Hotel Port. Everyone was friendly and attentive, and the hotel itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained. It was evident that there is a strong commitment to providing a wonderful experience for guests.

Nice place!
I booked a balcony room. The view was perfect and so clean.
They served well and so kind and warm and also they can speak Turkish, Persian and English.
They always clean your room on time and put a bottle of water there and whenever you want something, they bring you immediately.

Comfortable hotel with a very friendly staff. We had a deluxe room on the 4th floor. The hotel and the rooms are clean, and our stay was very pleasant. The hotel staff is very much customer oriented. Our room was a little bit smaller than we had expected but that did not have an impact in our pleasant stay.

As it is a new hotel there are however a few minor details that need a touch up, they are aware of these and are hard working to fix them.

New modern hotel, excellent location, 2 min walk from the Kabatas tram station, from where you can go to all tourist destinations in 10-20 min. The receptionist girl and her manager, another nice girl went over and beyond to make my stay nice. Small things like helping me order a Starbucks during the lockdown using local app in fact made my life a lot easier. Thanks girls!

It is a wonderful place. Hotel rooms are compact but very comfortable and modern. The hotel is well located, close to the sights. There is good staff, they are responsive and speak all languages of the world
