We were so excited to stay in this hotel with a nice facility and a FIVE-STAR HOTEL; however, the great hotel facility did not serve us to have a great vacation. Our stay turned out to be an absolute frustration and even life-threatening!!! The hotel has one indoor and two outdoor pools. One day, my wife and I decided to swim in the indoor pool and then use the spa and massage. However, we were asked to leave the indoor pool because there was a class for non-guests who were a swimming class members. I thought we paid to use the facility in regular hours that we were told about during booking and checking in. Actually, this was the smallest frustration we experienced. On the third day, I was taking a shower, and the water cut off. I asked my wife to call the front desk and ask for help and what they said was that " we try to resolve the problem in two to three hours" while I was waiting in the bathtub for water to rinse. After several calls to the front desk and not receiving any solution, and had a plan for the day, I had to rinse with a bottle of drinking water. After an hour, a gentleman showed up and said the basement still had water and I could use the showers in the basement, and this was his solution to the problem. Third, At night we were in the room listening to music when we heard the alarm for emergency evacuation on TV. We ran out quickly and even did not waste time picking up wallets and passports to save our lives. The hallway was all smoke. When we arrived at the lobby, we were guided outside and we saw the bar (or restaurant) exactly above our room was on fire and the fire had almost been extinguished. It was crazy that our room was the closest room to the fire, yet we were the last people who received the alarm. We ran downstairs immediately after hearing the alarm on TV but still, we were the last. We stayed in the street for about an hour until they said the situation was clear and it was safe to go back to the room. Later, we saw the pictures of the fire on local news websites, it was enormous right above our room, and this lack of an effective rescue plan could cost our lives. When we returned to the room, it was all smoke and I felt dizzy because of the smoke, and the AC did not work. When we asked the staff, the only response we got was “We opened the windows and everything will be fine soon” We hoped to be offered another room that was not affected by the fire. The staff had opened the window but it was not sufficient to lower the smoke. So we went outside and sat in a neighboring park until 2 AM and when we returned to the room and slept in a smoky hot room with no AC. For such a luxury hotel with luxury rates, they could, at least offer, some drinks like tea and try to help us get out of such distress and frustration. Instead, they said we had to pay for a tea we drank in the lobby. The next day, which was our check-out day, we ate breakfast in the hotel. The boiled eggs were rotten and stunk. We paid 18 euros per person for such a breakfast. During breakfast, the same guy who came to resolve the water issue came to our table and asked “Is everything all right?” This question seemed ironic and weird after all these events.
I hope that the management of the hotel has a more comforting response than “We regret you had a bad experience”, “we work hard to improve…” or other types of useless and flirty pre-fabricated responses.

Special thanks to Alihan, he was very attentive and helpful in the check in, also gave us 3 rooms early.

I highly recommend it, nice staff, clean rooms, good breakfast, well located. Pools are available. No complains. And price is affordable.

The gym Is so large and have almost everything

The hotel isn’t a proper 5 star hotel, it’s more like a 3 star hotel. The only good thing about the hotel is the rooftop pool - if you get to use it because it’s not only for hotel guests but for gym members too - who come at 8:00 and stay at the pool all day harassing women, also using up the space so you’ll be refused entry to the rooftop pool because gym members spend they all they and as they’re locals and regulars- they’ll get a better treatment. I mean old guys who won’t take no for an answer, we had to stop using the pool because they were so intrusive and they were not even hotel guests! So be careful if you’re a girl staying alone at the hotel as you’ll not feel comfortable/safe there. Cleaning staff was very nice and that’s how they scored 3 stars from me. WiFi was almost not working. The street view is a view to the construction site, very loud during the day. rooms are tired, but clean, prices of coffees/food/drinks at the hotel are extortionate - much higher than high street prices and the quality is just bad. Wouldn’t stay there again but it may appeal to some

The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful, making our check-in process smooth and pleasant. However, the staff at breakfast were quite slow and inattentive; we requested an omelet several times but never received it. Despite this, the hotel’s facilities were impeccably clean and easily accessible. We would totally recommend this hotel when staying in Kadikoy.

my family and I stayed at the wyndham hotel and had the most amazing experience, the hotel is extremely clean. staff were friendly , polite and reliable. being in a foreign country they made our stay extremely comfortable. The staff attended to all our needs especially our concierge member Yigit who helped us with arranging a lot of activities for my family and I and treated us with 5 star service. They also have an amazing hairdresser on the ground floor.

Special Thank you to Yigit the concierge! He took very special time to listen and understand my interests. He booked every taxi, restaurant, and tour. He is bilingual and one of most high quality people I’ve ever met!

The room was beautifully decorated and felt luxurious. The breakfast offered a wonderful selection and we looked forward to it every morning and took our time at the table - it was exceptional. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. A wonderful experience at this hotel.

We stayed in a family suite here for four nights in October 2023. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a seperate kids room. Most of the staff are very helpful and lovely. However for a hotel of its class the overall standards could be improved. The private vehicle/transfer service particularly, on multiple occasions they had no vehicles available.

It’s been a long time since I stayed in such a pleasant hotel. Everyone gives their best to make sure we were at ease. Special thanks to our concierge Yigit Türel who provided us with great help and advices. Jigger bar is awesome. Service top notch and welcoming. I only regret our last evening at Ouzo which didn’t reach the overall quality of the hotel. It was so noisy that we could barely hear each other. The price is far too expensive for what is given. To conclude I highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back.

The hotel itself is pretty nice. Very clean, quiet and comfortable.

The attached restaurant and bar are good quality, but horribly overpriced - almost double of what central high end night clubs charge on the waterfront.

The worst part is what they called "the mini bar". On the table inside your room is a small tray with bottled water, a small bottle of wine, some mixed nuts, candy bars... In total maybe $20-25 value. There was no signage to show prices and I assumed these were complimentary with my $250/nt room. Not so. I used maybe half of the meager items there and was charged about $100.

The neighborhood of the hotel is very residential without much to do anywhere near. A ride into the center must cross bridges with additional tolls and takes 40-60min each way. In the evenings the taxis want double the fare to take you to the hotel, because they will need to go back empty. There are plenty of nice hotels in the central district for about the same price. Unless you want to stay in a quiet place outside of town, I don't see the point. And the mini bar scam is really beneath what an establishment like this should sink to.

Think about what you would like to know if you were looking for a review about a place to relax. Please describe in detail what you liked and what you didn't. What would you advise to other guests and to the hotel owner. The more fully you tell about the hotel, the easier it will be for other people to make a choice and they will be very grateful to you!
