We stayed at the Villa Side Hotel in May. The staff are really excellent and try to make your holiday as nice as possible. The food both in the hotel and on the beach is good, you can always find something for every taste. The hotel has a big selection at every meal. The drinks (local alcohol) are okay for a 4 star hotel. The sandy beach is about a 5 minute walk or with the shuttle and is beautiful. The sea is clean and clear and there are enough free loungers for everyone. However, the rooms facing the street are not recommended; the windows are very thin and you can constantly hear the street next to the hotel. Some of the rooms also need to be renovated; you can see the age of the building in places like door frames, cupboards, shower cubicles and exhaust fans.

Nice hotel, the food was okay, everything was clean although not brand new. For us the biggest drawback was the lack of a kids' club. There is one in the adjacent hotel (Villa Side Residence), but as a holidaymaker at the Villa Side Hotel you are not allowed to visit it just like that - so you cannot use the mini club. When we asked, the reception could not (or would not) help us... Since this was a main criterion for us in choosing this hotel, it has been deducted from our rating. Certainly a good, relatively small hotel for seniors, couples without children, or those whose children are too small or too big for children's entertainment. Not recommended for families with children between 4 and 12, as the advertised children's activities are not offered as described.

The room was in an annex building on the second floor without a lift. The internet didn't work. We had to complain about the air conditioning twice until it was repaired.

The Villa Side hotel in Antalya is a hidden gem on the Turkish coast. From the moment you arrive you feel welcomed and cared for by the friendly team who work there. The Greek-style interior design gives the hotel a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, while the exterior recreates the feeling of being in a romantic German village. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The proximity to the beach is an added advantage, as you can enjoy the wonderful sea of Antalya at any time. We spent 3 days at the Villa Side hotel. I was a bit anxious as there weren’t any recent reviews. We couldn’t fault our time there. It is a smallish hotel compared to some of the monstrosities that line the beach if Side, and so it is very peaceful and sedate - music at night was good. They had entertainment but we were happy with the pool side music after dinner. It is only a short walk down to the beach, and we loved the structure over the water. The food was excellent, great variety and they were able to cater for her allergies - she is 21 and said it was the best buffet she’d ever had because she could eat a lot of it! The rooms were also good, in fact the shower had the best water pressure I’ve come across in a hotel for a long time!

Great Hotel, can only recommend it! Food has a lot of variety, whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. The rooms are high tech and very cozy. The pool is big enough for a lot of people and it's very fun if you bring young kids with you. Another good aspect is that you can get to the beach through a "beach tunnel" from the hotel.

I don't know where the rave reviews of this hotel come from. We got room 602. The windows overlook the bar and the music blares until 11:30 p.m., after which people sit and talk at the top of their voices. On the other side is a busy road and when the music stops, you can hear the noise of traffic. So don't expect silence. The plumbing is old, the shower stall leaks and there is water on the floor. Keep in mind that if you are over size 50, you simply won't fit in the shower. The food is passable, the juices are watered down. The sea is one plus. The beach is really close, a few minutes' walk if you are too lazy to walk, golf carts run until 6 p.m. You definitely won't want to return to this hotel.
