MADE Hotel

The midtown location is good for tourists as you’re about a 30 min walk from a lot of attractions in each direction. The hotel has a nice style, cool rooftop bar and strong AC which was much appreciated in August. The rooms are small which we expected given its Manhattan, but I’m not sure the design made the best use of the space, particularly in the bathroom. A huge raised stone sink looks nice but takes up the vast majority of your counter space which gets annoying after a few days, particularly as the room itself was quite dark with no overhead lighting so the bathroom was the only place you could really do makeup. I think it would be fine for a night or two if you’re travelling light, but by the end of our four night stay it felt pretty cramped. The bed on the floor also gets old after a bit especially when there is nowhere else to sit.

I'd never heard of Made Hotel. Took a chance based on reviews. I was in the City moving my kid into college. Arrived exhausted from Denver, with four bags, to truly the loveliest staff - warm, inviting, helpful and very randomly they had upgraded us to swank room (penthouse suite with beautiful view, tons of space, baller room). The hotel is hip. Perfect location. Not hectic. I'll be in this city A LOT visiting my son over the next four years - and they've very smartly secured a loyal customer. Tons of perks here: a glass of wine, cup of coffee, great places to chill. Immaculate vibes. Made Hotel made my trip. Thank you!

My sister and I took my mom here for one night in August to celebrate her birthday. We drove in from Long Island and I was able to valet my car directly through reception (+fee). It’s a lovely boutique hotel with a lobby cafe and bar where we ordered lunch and ate on the 2nd floor patio. (The patio is for “hotel guests only”, but it’s accessed through the municipal lobby so maybe adding room key access would make it feel more exclusive to hotel guests?). The rooftop bar was closed for a private event so we didn’t get a chance to visit, but looking forward to coming back!

Overall wonderful stay and overly attentive and friendly staff. We needed to refrigerate some food, so the receptionist asked a maintenance worker if there was a spare mini fridge, and within 10 minutes he was at our door with one!!

A quiet little corner in a vibrant part of the city. Loved the rooms, staff and size of this hotel. They have just the right elevator to room ratio so you are never stuck waiting like some of the larger hotels. There is a wine happy hour for guests and the rooms are so lovely. Also loved the bathroom and products.

We had a 10/10 stay.. the front desk staff are SO warm and friendly. The hotel room is very cozy and decorated beautifully. The beds were extremely comfortable we slept amazing every night .. and the little touches like daily wine and coffee at the cafe and the rooftop lounge gave us something to look forward to every day. Location was quite central and easy to get around. Can’t wait to be back!!

We had a great time at Made Hotel and will definitely be back again! The staff were still wearing masks, which I appreciated even though they had most likely been vaccinated. Daily housekeeping has been temporarily suspended, but you can ask the front desk for additional amenities and they will provide them. I liked the hotel's interior design and was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and helpful all the staff were. Highly recommend staying at this hotel, especially if you want access to SoHo/Lower and Upper Manhattan.

I was there in November, since then I wanted to write a review, but I didn't have the opportunity. I'm deaf and my boyfriend and I met Christina. She was AMAZING and made us feel so welcome! She knew American Sign Language, we were amazed and surprised!!! Our stay was perfect. There's a lot to do nearby, we'll definitely be back! The roof is nice too! However, the room is small but comfortable. The other people at the table were great too!!

We stayed for 9 nights. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is great and the hotel is very cozy and beautiful. It's very clean and has a great cafe and rooftop. The restaurant at the basement is a great place for tapas. Worth every penny!

Convenient location. Beautiful interior. I recommend for 1-2 nights.
