When I wanted to pick up the luggage I had to wait 15 minutes as the bellman was not to be found.
They need to upgrade the service level here and take care of the rooms. For the same prices, the Park Lane Hotel around the corner is much better with larger rooms and better views.
The best part of the stay were the towels - really nice , new and soft - to put a positive note at the end 😉
Whenever we asked for anything we received only part of our order, like they were not paying attention. It took asking 4 times for washcloths.
We’ve noticed a steady decline of this particular NYC Marriott. Hope it improves.
In the restaurant (Le Jardin) on the ground floor we were well received by the waiters and the service was excellent. The continental breakfast in Le Jardin was tasteful and we had a view of the kitchen while seated in the back area. In the evening we had two different mocktails at the bar of Le Jardin.
