La Valencia Hotel

We had a great time at the La Valencia Hotel. The hotel staff made our stay very special for our anniversary. They even sent up a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate the occasion. The location is perfect to view the sunset and see the sea lions nearby. We will definitely be back at some point. Our favorite hotel of our California trip.

Great hotel bar. Eric did a fantastic job making me all kinds of cocktails from rum to whisky to tequila. Really knew his stuff. Absolutely would make this a regular stop if I lived here

Had an absolutely amazing stay at La Valencia. The location is amazing, the views are amazing and the staff is great. Shout out to Kima at the front desk for being super helpful and making this stay one to remember! We will be back very soon.

Lovely stay overall! My original ocean view room had a big bed but it was massively uncomfortable. I asked if we could change rooms and they gave us another room with a balcony and a smaller super comfy bed. Thank you for that! It was our anniversary so they even sent up a bottle of champagne 🥂
The hotel itself was beautiful, open concept, fresh flowers everywhere and beautiful decor. The bar was great, nice cocktails and dessert though we didn’t eat here. The pool was heated but a little cool but the weather was exceptionally cold so it’s ok. The hot tub was hot as can be so that was nice! Valet was great too! Overall great stay when we swapped rooms.

What a place! This old style property has all the modern amenities and conveniences with tons of charm and the location just can't be beat. The whole area is really clean, safe, and just beautiful. We were able to go get a coffee, go to the cove and check out the sea lions, get breakfast, and more all within easy walking distance. The rooms are spacious for a hotel like this as well. The rooms were quiet and the beds were great!

The concierge is great and has a wealth of knowledge about the area, the food, and the sights. Definitely leverage his knowledge. Getting in and out was a breeze, even with the traffic. The valets will stop traffic for you so you can safely back out which is a plus on this busy street.

Even if it's a bit out of the way, make the trip. You won't regret it!

Nice time. we stayed in the lobby bar area but service was a little slow. Good views for sure.
