Pacific Terrace Hotel

This was probably my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at. They really go above and beyond to make your time special! They offered a free bottle of wine for my birthday, amazing turndown chocolates every night, complimentary water bottles & super friendly and helpful staff! They were so willing to give me recommendations of places to check out and would ask me about it later if I came by the front desk. They were all so cool and easy to talk to.

They even brought me a fork at 1:00am and they were so nice and kind always. Room service was wonderful and the coffee was great too! I loved the ocean view room, and I felt so safe there. I also really liked how secure and easy the parking garage was.

I felt this was the most personalized stay I’ve ever had. Even check out was super easy and they happily pushed it back an hour to be accommodating.

Feels like a 5 star resort & a family owned business at the same time. Would highly recommend, and I would love to stay here again in the future. :)

Totally give this place 10 stars if I could staff was amazing rooms were beautiful. Our view was gorgeous. Will return again 1000% conveniently located. We were able to walk to bars and restaurants. The pool there at the was nicely warmed. And the beach was a stones throw away.

Had a fantastic stay at Pacific Terrace! The location is unmatched - right on the water and next to boardwalk where we biked both days we were there. The pool is gorgeous, well heated, and facing the ocean. Staff was all super friendly (shout to Jason at the pool who was amazing and Mimi was great too!). We had a minor issue that was handled by management very gracefully. We are from LA and the food and drinks were all top notch (poolside cocktails were balanced and not too sweet). Highly recommend and would stay again!

This is a pretty good hotel for self-driving on the West Coast. It's not a well-known brand, but the price is certainly not cheap! The United States is really suitable for B&Bs, and hotels have basically no services anyway!

The Pacific Terrace is a wonderful hotel.

(It's definitely not inexpensive ... but very enjoyable).

Our suite (The Grand) overlooked the beach/ocean.

The sunsets were spectacular.

Breakfast was really good.

And, the staff was fantastic.

Most especially housekeeping ... who create amazing animals by using bath towels.

Also, two brief negatives:

1 --- The common areas of the hotel were worn ... and seemingly, not cleaned on a daily basis.

2--- The elevator was very slow.

I loved my stay at Pacific Terrace! I went on my first solo trip to San Diego and the entire staff made me feel welcome and safe. I had to extend my stay due to unforeseen circumstances. They were able to find me a second room that met all of my needs. Super clean and comfortable bed. I can’t express enough my gratitude for their empathy and compassion during my stay. Their customer service is top tier. The access to the beach is also unreal. I ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the food was very good! I would HIGHLY recommend visiting!!

The location is very good, but when checking in, you must make sure it is facing the sea; the service is good, clean, and there are chocolates, snacks, and apples for free.
