The Dupont Circle Hotel

After living in the Meridian in Chinatown, this building has been a tremendous step up. The leasing office is extremely professional and helpful, especially Maureen who leased my apartment to me. I've known her for a couple of years now and she is very helpful and kind. Tray works at the front desk and is incredible! She really helped out when my air conditioner flooded by calling maintenance and making sure they finished all repairs in two days (which is their promise, unlike Meridian which would take over a week sometimes). The amenities are beautiful and the rooms are stunning. I love the layout especially with the curtain, it helps make a under 500 square foot apartment look and feel big!

I do appreciate that when issues arise, the management will respond to you via emails and/ or a phone call. I even sent a video of my refrigerator because it was making a buzzing noise and the next day it was replaced which was above and beyond what I expected.

The location is ideal because it's two blocks from the metro and circulator (to get to Georgetown or VA). It's in the middle of DuPont which is where I've always wanted to live and love it.

I have now lived in the Flats for one year and just signed a new lease. I could not be happier. The building is top notch with very nice amenities, pleasant and responsive staff and an ideal location. I moved to DC after living abroad for a number of years and Maureen and the rest of the leasing office helped make my move seamless. I highly recommend the Flats to DC residents and especially to those new to the area.

I lived in the Flats at Dupont Circle for four years, and only left because I was relocating to another city. I can't say enough good things about the building and staff. Everyone who works at the Flats, from maintenance personnel to leasing agents, is extremely nice, accommodating, and will go out of their way to ensure their tenants are happy.

Everyone who works at the front desk is a joy to see in the morning on my way to work and in the afternoon after a long day. They are all smiles and always ready to greet you and make you feel at home. Locked out? They can let you back in at any time. Need to pick up a package? You can get it 24 hours a day. Dry cleaning? Just drop it off at the front desk! Some of the people I will miss most from DC worked behind that desk. They become friends, and are always available to help with anything you may need.

Maureen in the leasing office made my move-in and move-out experience easy, and was a great contact during my four years. She was readily available to answer questions, help negotiate annual lease agreements, and provide all of the necessary moving instructions and assistance when it came time for me to leave.

The amenities at the Flats are a major plus. The gym is spectacular, bright, and spacious. The pool is always clean and fun, but not over the top with loud parties. The laundry room is in great condition, has tons of machines, and takes credit cards. My favorite feature of the laundry room is that you can check online to see if there are machines available before lugging all of your items downstairs. You can even set it up so you receive a text when your laundry is ready to be switched to the dryer or is finished.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! The building is just a few blocks from the Dupont metro station, and is also in walking distance to the Foggy Bottom and Farragut West/North stations, depending on which line you need. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, workout studios, bus stops, and convenience stores nearby. It's a 15 minute walk to the White House, and a short Uber or metro to the National Mall. You cannot run out of things to do.

The rooms are bright, with huge windows allowing plenty of sun in, as well as vertical blinds for when you need to recover from the night before (I call those dungeon days). The stainless steel appliances and track lighting really make the rooms feel up-to-date and modern. The shower has awesome water pressure, something I was concerned about when moving into such a large building.

I wish I could live here forever, but duty calls elsewhere!

We moved in today and despite us never having rented and not knowing what we were doing throughout the entire process, everyone was super helpful, especially Cristina, our leasing agent!
