Grand Mercure Hotel and Residences Dubai Airport

We stayed at this hotel during our 4-day holiday in Dubai and were very satisfied. In particular, the staff member who brought the extra bed to our room was extremely helpful. I didn’t have a Type G charger adapter, so I requested a converter from him, and he kindly brought it right away. The other staff members were also very polite and attentive; I would like to thank them all.

The breakfast was also fantastic, with a wide variety of rich options. My only suggestion would be to include more filling choices like french fries. It would be great if simpler but satisfying breakfast options were offered as well.

My sister and I went for a lunch buffet! Kenneth and Krizzha were our hospitality providers and all I can say is that they were so polite, attentive and helpful! Well done guys, this is the hospitality level guests are expecting. 🙌🏼🩷😊

I can't say enough about the incredible housekeeping team, Eva and anjana. They kept my room absolutely spotless every day, with everything neatly arranged and fresh. The hotels commitments to cleanliness really shines through thanks to their hardworking 👏

One of the standout features of my stay was the breakfast. The buffet was absolutely fantastic, offering an extensive selection of international and local dishes. From fresh pastries and continental options to a variety of Middle Eastern specialties, there was something for everyone. I especially enjoyed the made-to-order stations, where I had a perfectly cooked omelet tailored to my preferences. Mr Shawal was amazing.

I recently visited Grand Mercure Dubai City and had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast there. The spread was absolutely fantastic, with so many options to choose from, catering to every taste. From freshly baked pastries to a variety of hot dishes, everything was delicious.

A special mention goes to the staff who served us—particularly Janette who made our experience even better. Not only did she ensure that we were well taken care of, but she also made my son’s morning by serving him the best hot chocolate he’s ever had. It’s the little touches like this that make a big difference. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed here, with my wife for 3 nights, and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked into our room, we were impressed by the meticulous attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness. I had some of the best nights of sleep during my stay, waking up refreshed and ready to take on the day. I forgot the name of our housekeeper, but the gentleman we met, Ken, was so kind to us and went further to check whether we felt comfortable.

Overall, the room’s cleanliness and the comfort of the bed truly elevated our experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious and restful stay in the heart of Dubai.

I had a lovely stay of 8 days here due to work. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The overall size of the room was decent. I believe it's good value for the price.

Now, just some honest observations and feedback.

It was a bit strange at first, having the shower area separated from the toilet area. Both are very small in size. Another issue I felt was due to the bed and back wall attached the area behind it was a bit cramped. there is a small work desk there which was not very comfortable as there is an ottoman for a seat and you cant really sit there for work for a longer period of time.
the fridge was small and not very cold.

The gym and pool were the highlights of this hotel as was the location as its very near the airport and has free shuttle service to various places including the airport and malls.

I had a good time . I will return to this establishment if the price offered is fair.
