Grand Mercure Hotel and Residences Dubai Airport

I recently visited Grand Mercure Dubai City and had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast there. The spread was absolutely fantastic, with so many options to choose from, catering to every taste. From freshly baked pastries to a variety of hot dishes, everything was delicious.

A special mention goes to the staff who served us—particularly Janette who made our experience even better. Not only did she ensure that we were well taken care of, but she also made my son’s morning by serving him the best hot chocolate he’s ever had. It’s the little touches like this that make a big difference. Highly recommended!

I have nothing but great appreciation for the hospitality I was accorded. Housekeeping were phenomenal, keeping my room spotless every single day. The cleanliness of the room, the timely request delivery and the overall professionalism of the staff was impressive. Let me single out Ken, He was attentive to my needs, provided prompt assistance whenever required, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Our stay at this fantastic hotel was truly unforgettable. The views were breathtaking, and our room, which was upgraded to a suite, was exceptionally spacious and impeccably clean. What really set our experience apart was the incredible staff. Ken, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure we had the most wonderful time. The entire team was friendly, attentive, and always eager to help, making our stay an absolute pleasure.

I recently stayed here, with my wife for 3 nights, and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked into our room, we were impressed by the meticulous attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness. Every surface was spotless and the fresh, inviting scent instantly made us feel at home.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect balance of softness and support. After a long day of exploring Dubai, sinking into the plush bedding was a real treat. I had some of the best nights of sleep during my stay, waking up refreshed and ready to take on the day. I forgot the name of our housekeeper, but the gentleman we met, Ken, was so kind to us and went further to check whether we felt comfortable.

Overall, the room’s cleanliness and the comfort of the bed truly elevated our experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious and restful stay in the heart of Dubai.

I had a lovely stay of 8 days here due to work. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The overall size of the room was decent. I believe it's good value for the price.

Now, just some honest observations and feedback.

It was a bit strange at first, having the shower area separated from the toilet area. Both are very small in size. Another issue I felt was due to the bed and back wall attached the area behind it was a bit cramped. there is a small work desk there which was not very comfortable as there is an ottoman for a seat and you cant really sit there for work for a longer period of time.
the fridge was small and not very cold.

The gym and pool were the highlights of this hotel as was the location as its very near the airport and has free shuttle service to various places including the airport and malls.

I had a good time . I will return to this establishment if the price offered is fair.

+ good place to be, metro ,restaurant close to the hotel all features are very good super clean the check-in was smooth

+ Breakfast’s buffet was very good with wide variety of dishes. There is no shuttle to terminal 2. You have to call for a cab, which may take sometime

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Dubai.
Fantastic restaurant with courteous staffs , clean rooms and aptly located to reach to all attractions of Dubai.

We experienced some local taste at the Qova Cafe in Grand Mercure Hotel. They serve one of the best coffee in town featuring single origin coffees from their custom-made Kees Van Der Westen machine.

A casual and relaxed place offering specialty coffee and a great place to enjoy refreshing drinks in the evening with colleagues or friends. For premium high tea experience they serve an array of food and beverage signature selections which include their organic dates, freshly harvested from their farm in Al Ain.

Their certified Barista ,Mr Perry made sure that our afternoon coffee experience at the Cafe was memorable.
