Black Diamond Hotel in Tirana

Came to the hotel for a one night stayover from Sarandë, had already booked the hotel 3-4 months ago. Upon arrival the receptionist was a little confused and switch between room cards. We went upstairs and found out they had downgraded us from triple room to double room. Waited 2 hours for a solution, the receptionist wouldn’t upgrade us, even if we payed extra. She could give a refund of 25€ but then we would have gone 7€ in minus. So after a 5 hour busride and 2 hours waiting, we ended up cancelling the booking and went to Hotel Elisa instead, and I would urge you all to do the same. Bad customer service, and bad solutions only to not lose money. To be honest… there are better hotels in Tirana with better customer service, I will never come back and will urge everyone to rather book into another hotel.

Unfortunately the the hotel did not care to make our stay safe and comfortable and it has been a huge disappointment, despite me reaching out to the manager who was not on site due to his or her mother being in the hospital. Nobody dealt with our complaint in any professional form, and nobody offered any partial refund either. The room I was given was advertised as 10 meters squared bigger than it actually was. My friends had booked the same room type at the same price and were given a far bigger room. When I brought this to the staff’s attention, they made excuses and did nothing about it. What a scam! Also, our car was taken by a staff member to be parked in a car park about 20 mins walk away from the hotel. We didn’t mind but needed to collect something we had left in the car later that night. When we got there, our car had been left unlocked the entire day. The staff member who accompanied us was surprised and apologized, however despite a formal complaint, no manager or supervisor reached out to us. The whole experience was awful and I would never stay there again. Furthermore, this hotel is not clearly marked on google maps and you will find yourself driving round and round in circles until you find some road signs.

Sold me for 8 euros a beer at the bar. They said its normal here.. Tried to speak with the manager two times, she was beverte available. Constant fart amely at the room.. I'm not recommand this place.
