Hotel Livia

The hotel is very central and convenient for the sights of Tirana. It's also good value for what you get location wise. We were greeted warmly on arrival and check in was painless. Our room was ok - large enough but a bit tired. No lock on the bathroom and signs of wear but everything worked ok. A safe for valuables would have been good too. That said the beds were comfortable and breakfast was good also.

Small room, just perfect to drop my bag and explore Tirana. Older room, safe, comfy, variable air conditioning. Bathroom offered mini toiletries that were just great. Inviting breakfast buffet with all the essential breads and proteins and an array of dried fruits--soooo good!

Fantastic stay here, it’s so central and walking distance to everything. Great transport links. I arrived at 2.30am which wasn’t a problem - they showed me up to my room and let me pay in the morning to avoid delays getting to bed. The breakfast was tasty with lots of options. The staff are beyond helpful.

Situated 5 minutes on foot from Skanderbeg Square in quite a quiet place, all the most important sights in a walkable distance. The room was reasonbly big with A/C and a TV (but only radio channels tuned on it), lots of sockets, unfortunately no fridge. The bathroom was Ok (even with a hairdryer), toiletries and towels provided. There is a lift in the building. Breakfast was OK, only one kind of coffee, but quite tasty. Some cereals, yoghourt, sausages, cheese, salami, also some sweet options available. Nice staff with a good command of English. There might be a fridge or a kettle in the room, they would come in handy, but you can do without them. Otherwise nothing I can think of.

Our rating actually fluctuates between 3 and 4... 4 for the welcome, the bar, the calm in a dead end, the very central location, the price with integrated breakfast buffet, the family atmosphere with local customers, the friends, neighbours, (numerous) members of staff... 3 for comfort all in all a little spartan, but we weren't considering the Crillon to spend 3 nights there... Room cleaned every day, clean and cramped bathroom . Sanitary products in abundance, WIFI on all floors and TV to be rebooted... All around bars and restaurants within 200 m and the new market (Pazari). For those who would like a little more comfort, there seem to be 2 other hotels opposite... Count 45 e per night for 2 pax with breakfast. The bar with terrace is nice if the Albanians come for a drink... The bus for the int aero is 5 mins away and costs 400 Leke (+/- 3.8 Euros - remember to change some money when you arrive in the terminal without com).

I spent my 15-days holiday in this hotel with my whole family. The accommodation and rooms are comfortable and very clean! The entire staff is very very kind!!! Another good point: the Italian espresso is really good ☺️ I suggest this hotel everyone who want to spend his holiday in Tirane. I would like to renew my thanks to the staff that took care of my bags and luggages while I was visiting other cities. I’ll surely come back! ☺️

Location was excellent, just a 5min walk from the Tirana Int'l airport bus drop off. It's right in the center of Tirana, a 7min walk to Skanderbeg Square & a 3min walk to the New Bazaar, which is where the open air market is located, as well as plenty of cafes, restaurants, & shops. It's also near the taxi stands. The hotel itself has a cute little courtyard where you can enjoy your morning breakfast. My room was quite big, esp. since I was traveling solo. It was comfortable & clean, which is the most important thing. For the price, this was a great deal, esp. since it includes breakfast.

Excellent staff and tidy rooms. Some minor problems with the bathroom (broken door handle and slight overflow in the shower).

Breakfast was basic but sufficient. Great selection of drinks available at the lobby (ranging from Albanian to Dutch beers + many hot drinks)

Parking was a bit of a hassle, but we were sent to a nearby underground parking which cost 500 lekë per night; which we believe is a fair price for parking so close to the central square.
