Hotel Indigo Sydney Potts Point, an IHG Hotel
Sydney, 2-14 Kings Cross Road 🧭 Map
First there was a bit of a hiccup as I requested an early check in but the room was not available. Then we were told that we could not stay there for the whole two weeks that was booked due to the place closing. I have to say the manager Denise went out of her way to rectify all that was happening to make us as comfortable as possible. Even found us accommodation at another hotel to complete our stay...
This hotel was beautiful - in the heart of Pott's Point. The staff were very friendly and catered to all our requests. Good value for money. Would definitely stay here again.
Larmont is a beautifully designed and very comfortable hotel! The receptionists were very kind, and helpful and the facility looks great. We loved our time staying.
the price is reasonable, location is perfect (close proximity to train station, restaurants and supermarkets) and reception staff is friendly.
however, room cleaning is not consistent (better on some days, not so good on others), the evacuation alarm went off in the middle of the night when there wasn't an emergency, and some money was deducted off the security deposit of $200 despite us not having...
Comfy bed and pillows. The rooms need serious updating. There was a hole in the carpet near the bathroom and the room looked like it had been last updated 10 years ago. The rooms are not as pictured on the website. I wouldn't call this a boutique 4 star hotel, it's not much more than a 3 star basic room at a Mantra type property. Nothing special about it at all.
Purely amazing stay at Larmont. A friend of mine came to Sydney for a short visit during her birthday. We received The most warm welcome from staffs member, hand written card and s phone call just to give her best wishes.
The facility are brand new and cosy, it wasn’t a massive room but really modern and cosy. It’s definitely a place that worth the money that you paid. I will definitely recommend...

Rooms tiny but location is premium. Building is gorgeous. However it is not 4 star. Probably 3.5. I acknowledge running a hotel using staff that get paid mimum wages would be exceptionally challenging. I think cleanliness is is paramount and it seems that is the biggest criticism. I hope this chain does well.
We loved this hotel! Our rooms were really clean and nice, and we felt at home there. Beds and pillow comfy. Bathroom great and we had a big shower cubicle. Only thing I would say is not lots of wardrobe space and only. Few clothes hangers. The staff at reception were extremely helpful with advice and help. The location is great as you can walk to Chinatown or Haymarlet Light Rail stations so great...
The reception staff, especially Shou, made our stay at this small hotel very much nicer than it could have been. The rooms were surprisingly small and awkward although nicely appointed. The staff were friendly, courteous, very helpful and very welcoming.
I made a last-minute reservation at the Veriu Hotel for my very first visit to Australia, and I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable price.
The hotel is situated in a wonderfully convenient area, just a short 10-minute walk from the museum subway station and also close to Chinatown. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed by the staff, especially a kind gentleman named Aaron,...
This appears to be an old hotel that has had the the rooms renovated so the noise travels between rooms quite easily. The carpets have not been renewed. The bed was super comfortable. The staff were really friendly. If you have mobility challenges and are unable to navigate stairs I would raise this with staff before booking. On the level I stayed, after the lift there were about 5 stairs to get to...
Good for a good stay for 1 person per night! Small but comfy and the receptionist Aaron is very friendly and welcoming.

Excellent staff who were extremely welcoming. Good spot too with plenty of places to grab a bite to eat. The room was very clean, comfortable and cosy. Will come back!
Central to everything, rooms modern and updated, can hear some street noise in the room at night. the desk in the room was great for work. The service offered matched the price paid. No complaints . Customer service was excellent.
Affordable, comfy and clean rooms however on a hot Saturday evening the air conditioning would not go below 24 degrees. We were moved to arguably a better laid out room after coming back from night out with apologies from the front desk after contacting them twice about the issue. Air con wouldn't go bellow 22.8 this time but we didn't want to move again and it was comfortable enough.
Had breakfast this morning with 2 friends. Fantastic experience. Katie did a great job in welcoming us, explaining the offerings, arranging for our omelettes etc. I noted Katie worked very hard with all aspects of the breakfast experience.
I am 6ft 4 and the shower was over bath. Unfortunately the bath was raised above floor roughly 2 foot which ment I was taller than the roof. I had to knell in bath to shower and the shower head was still waist high.
Also the mini bar was empty, required you to scan a QR code to get items delivered. When I arrived back to room I wanted a drink but when scanned code was informed service was closed for...
Great service, good location would definitely suggest a walk along the parramatta river. Food was also delicious and the free parking when dining is also a great plus. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

We liked this place for its location, close to the show and sport venues. The room was a good size, very clean and the bed comfortable. The staff were super helpful and very polite.
My double room was very spacious and the big windows let in lots of natural sunlight.
Nice room and very good staff!
Cheap in a nice quite location during the week... Cool vending machines down stairs with #Paypass which is extremely handy when you have no cash! While visiting go for a swim in the #olympicpool #epic

A great stay, was pleasantly impressed by the quality of the hotel, its rooms and public spaces. Will definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to family and friends.
Staff always friendly, easy check in, centrally located to where I need to be and clean
It's rare in Australia that the room is cleaned once a day, but the window in the room can't be opened, so it's a bit stuffy if you stay there all day.
The location is good, there is a Coles nearby, walk around 15 minutes to there. The receptionist at front desk is inadequate, which we had to wait for 5 to 15 minutes for check-in or request for extra supplies. And the room soundproofing is poor.
Clean and convenient. Had everything needed for a short stay.
The room was very spacious and clean. The most thoughtful thing was that there was a Bull adapter in the room. This was very thoughtful for people who forgot to bring the adapter when they were in a hurry on a business trip. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic. Since we were going out first, even though we checked out, the front desk staff was still very kind to let us put our luggage in the...

Location is perfect, very convenient. Lovely vibe and and overall feel, great coffee and food was just as good. Will be staying again on our next Sydney trip :)
Amazing hotel with a cool aesthetic. Staff were friendly and looked after us for a special occasion, but didn't go through the free mini-bar policy (may be in the process of being revised in future as the website stated "select items" as complimentary, even though it all was when we visited. We will certainly be back.

We really enjoyed our 8 day stay, the staff were all very friendly and helpful when needed. The shower in our room was amazing and free sweets at reception is a nice touch. However, I do have some negative points, which I think would be very easy to fix, so here’s my honest review.

Super cool hotel that was very convenient to lots of restaurants and about 40 min walk to the harbour. The room is small but clean and everything feels fresh and new. Also love the complimentary drinks and candy bar!
The minute we walked in we were greeted by Bernadette Hobson. She made us feel so welcomed and was accommodating in every possible way.
We stayed in the Junior Suite. The room was very comfortable and clean. We had a great sleep and the beds were comfortable.

This hotel is literally used to be a wool store back in 1888, hence the name. I love the rustic industrial feeling since I entered the lobby.
The room is small but cozy. It got Alexa to play music, and also Apple TV.

We had a great stay. Clean, comfortable and spacious. Would definitely stay again.
the air conditioner in the room was not working properly. making loud noises. they had a fan in the room. had to sue that instead. luckily weather was not too hot.
room was old, bed was too soft for my liking.
service was good, receptionist was helpful.
but got loud knocks on the door at 9am asking if i needed housekeeping on the day i was checking out. which wasn’t very pleasant.
Here is my favourite hotel.
Because there are nature and calm around hotel.
Hotel is very clean and amazing
Clean bed and clean bathroom. The bed sheets were actually pretty comfortable.
Had a change of schedule so called ahead as I needed to find out if I could store a bag there.

Essential amenities, great location, friendly service
Located in the prime location in Sydney, easy to move around with public transport, but hotel’s amenities are very basic. Hotel’s lift is under upgrade work and not available to use, construction also going on, very annoying if you stay in hotel on working hour.
Nice hotel, good location. Many shops and restaurants around. Near Market city and china town. Value for money.
The hotel is in a great location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, during our stay, there was ongoing construction work which made it extremely loud, we struggled to get enough sleep. We were also a bit disappointed that the hotel didn’t inform us about the construction when we made the booking. Additionally, we had to use the stairs, but thankfully there were staff members on...

Hygiene: The lobby is great, but the room is really just average – incredibly tiny, but that's Sydney for you. The location is excellent, with lots of brunch cafes and bars nearby. The service is very good, and they have Chinese-speaking staff.
The room was decent, and the location, not far from Chinatown, made it easy to find food nearby. However, the shower temperature was inconsistent, constantly fluctuating between hot and cold, even during off-peak hours. On the positive side, the free fruit and tea on the first floor were a nice touch.
Great location, really close to the central station! Room size enough for a family trip. The shower water is not warm enough at the first night stay but this is fixed the following day. Overall good experience to stay here.
Friendly staff and looked after our bags before check in. They took our as up to the room while we were out! The room was clean and was in a good location to walk into

Was going to give a unsatisfactory review but the overnight staff evicted a noisy guest in my room. Couldn't be more grateful. The front desk is manned 24 hours so help is always around.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Hyde Park. It's about a 30-minute taxi ride from Sydney International Airport, costing around 46 AUD. The room was spacious, perfect for three of us. Excellent location, right across the road from Hyde Park. You can walk to museums, churches, art galleries, botanical gardens, the Opera House, and the Harbour Bridge. There are also bus and subway stops nearby for attractions further afield. The room was clean and spacious. Don't worry about the simple breakfast, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes lined up on the next street over.
Excellent location. Reasonal price considering where it’s located among other hotels. Room was clean.
Breakfast is okay. Bread, milk, cereal, spread, juice, and cup of fruits. However, it didn’t include water bottles.
No shower cap, moisturizer, or conditioner.
The hotel's location is excellent, very convenient for transportation! It's right opposite Hyde Park, making it super easy to come and go every day! The room was quite spacious, enough for three people. Clean and tidy, very satisfied! 👍
Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. The location is excellent, right across from Hyde Park. It's worth noting that the 'breakfast included' isn't a typical hotel buffet in a restaurant; instead, it's just simple cereal and bread delivered to your room.
This hotel, despite looking a bit old, is fully equipped and quite spacious, even coming with a balcony. For a Sydney hotel, it offers great value for money. My only minor complaint would be the elevators, which are small and slow.

Great value for money hotel. For what you pay you do get a clean, comfortable hotel room and fairly modern bathroom. There’s also a safe, mini fridge and storage space in the room. We got a Superior King Room and while it is very small, it was fine as we only needed to come here to shower and sleep. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. The location is fantastic. It is a such a good hotel to stay in if u want to come to the city in Sydney. The location is the best and hotel it self is nice and cheap, much better then slot of expensive hotels in Sydney. We even got a free breakfast in the morning. The staffs are so nice and friendly! The lady making the coffee in the morning make very good coffee. Thank you for everything!
Had a pleasant two day stay at this hotel last August, stayed on my own. The room is clean, the hotel staff are very friendly and the location is good. Great location but shower and the room in general is a bit old for our taste
Very happy with the Hotel - fantastic spot for Vivid. Great service. Lovely room but bathrooms could do with a bit of an update.
Old building, Great location, the best you can get actually, especially if there is fireworks, we missed it this time, next year.

Location was amazing, and you can park there too. Valet parking, just pull up at the side of the building and let the reception know. The hotel's location is its biggest advantage. Circular Quay is right outside the first floor, and Royal Gardens is across the street from the third floor, making it very convenient. Very good location, fantastic day/night view
It takes only 10min to opera house, and you can see harbour bridge in your room. Highly recommended!
It had a pool downstairs, with a small jacuzzi. But since it’s lower floor people outside at the circular quay area can see you? Beautiful breakfast place at Hacienda restaurant and generous portions! Our family enjoyed our stay! Walking distance to opera house too!
The location is unbeatable with breathtaking Sydney Harbour and Opera House views. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, though we experienced a few unfortunate issues during the stay. What truly stood out was the staff’s friendliness and professionalism—they went above and beyond to help. Their kindness turned our experience around. Would happily return for the excellent service

Traveling with friends, we booked two rooms. The hotel is relatively clean. You can take the subway from the airport to the hotel and transfer to another one. The hotel is about 700 meters away from the station. The hotel is convenient to Sydney Opera House and Chinatown. It is a good choice.
