Sydney, 1188 Victoria Road 🧭 Map
Lovely window view on the golf club, but just a little too early for maws.
The room was clean and tidy, with a modern bathroom kept to a well cleaned standard. Had an amazing view over the golf course which was a nice surprise and they have a nice little Korean restaurant attached to the building to grab lunch or dinner if you don’t want to travel to far, highly recommended.
A bit noisy on the roadside, poor sound insulation, the facilities level of a fast hotel
Very well positioned. Great location and close to everything. Would recommend for a few nights when staying in Sydney.
The property was as per photos. Immaculately clean. Handy location to Olympic park and great value
The hotel is newly renovated and is generally good. It is right on Victoria Rd. It is very convenient to rent a car and drive yourself.

A fine example of multiculturalism. A long established pub in every sense with a Chinese Bistro with great menu. Every day chinese food available all day. The proof of good feed is in the number of diners morning, noon and evening. Always busy.
Food was great, and well priced, and a great variety of tasty dishes. Rooms were large, beds were clean, the whole place was dusty and the floors and carpets needed a thorough, deep clean. Bathrooms need a more frequent refresher.
Staff were great to deal with, $6 schooners from 9am. Check in and out process was very simple. Showers and bathroom were a bit dusty and like any shared are you should wear flip flops but other than that the rooms were clean and quiet. Will stay again
Standard pub except decent Vietnamese/Chinese menu is a nice change
Garlic bread is just standard! $2 for 3 pieces

Price was extortion for what you get and the room had cockroaches. For the price 3/10 wouldn’t recommend.
Good Location and very friendly and helpful Staff. Hotel is older. Aircon can’t be turned off and was too strong and cold.
The location was great. It was easy to commute to the center etc because it was nearby central station/the happening. Staff was super nice.
This hotel has everything you need, just a few steps from Central station. Very clean and quiet. Free Netflix to keep my kids busy which really surprised me as most hotel we've been to charge money for it. There are microwave, kettle, fridge, hair dryer in the room. At the reception, there are complimentary tea and coffee, fruits, Skittles which you can get them anytime. The coffee machine can make...
Was a great nice hotel. Booked with no window for a good sleep. I woild recommend to book with no window room so that its dark and you can get complete sleep even if it is 10 am in the morning.
Perfect for overnight accomodation. Walking distance from Central Railway Station. Walk to shops, restaurants, Woolworths and Chinatown. Nice and clean. Great coffee machine and snacks for breakfast. 10/10 to gentleman on the service desk. Thankyou what a nice man

The finest piece of Edwardian Britain in Sydney. My wife and I cannot fault any part of our stay. The owner, manager and staff were wonderful. The rooms were spacious and every little detail was attended to. A short walk took us to the Opera House, Royal Botanical Gardens and more. The breakfast was the best continental breakfast I’ve had. The welcome by Keith (owner) was cordial and welcoming. He...
My girlfriend and I stayed here for our trip to Sydney to celebrate our 2 year. The owner Ree was so warm and welcoming and helped us find a great place for dinner. The rooms were super clean and spacious with a very comfortable night's sleep. Awesome location with great walks to nearby restaurants and about a 15 minute walk to the botanical gardens and the Opera house just a little further. Highly...
Amazing boutique hotel with very friendly people and great rooms
Faboulous bespoke hotel close to the centre of town. Would highly recommend this hotel
Excellent. Best place to stay in Sydney. Very high quality and fabulous location. The owners make you feel like it's your own home
Friendly family type atmosphere. Great communal area to read. Room was large and well equipped with style.

The staff were very hospitable especially when I arrived and found out my extra night is organised hadn’t been applied. Location was perfect and would definitely be happy to stay again.
I stayed here in December 2022. I had a good pleasant stay. I'll rate it as 4 star hotel and I got value for all my money. Room was very clean and Wifi was brilliant. Also had a bar fridge and kettle. Staff were very friendly and allowed me to leave my bag after check out until 6 PM Air Con worked brilliantly. Location was 10/10 for me. 2 minutes walk to King Cross station. Supermarket, Restaurants...
This was our first stay at the Bayswater Lodge! and we loved it! Great location with shops, buses and trains at the door. Compact, modern room, nice decor, friendly and helpful staff, everything was excellent. We especially loved the discounted car parking deal - parking in Sydney is a nightmare!! This was cheaper and better than our usual Sydney hotel - we'll be back to see you soon! xx
Was a very comfortable hotel with a big cosy bed. The ensuite was a tad small but also very modern and all very clean! Great location with shops, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance. There is a taxi rank right out the front of you need to travel further. We were very happy with our stay and would gladly come back again.
Small, no frills hotel room located in the heart of Sydney. It's easy to walk to all of the tourist destinations (Opera House, Harbour, Circular Quay) and there's the Kings Cross station right across the street from the hotel. The room we had (middle of the floor, 4th floor) was quiet for being in the middle of the city. Comfortable bed, very small bathroom, but reasonable rates!
The rooms are beginning to show their age, closet doors wouldn't shut, bathroom door wouldn't slide, the shower door is poorly designed and can't be opened with the floor mat down. For some reason we had a two beds room for a king room, a lounge instead would of of been nice. Comparable price to hotels in darling harbour that were of better quality.

The room is like a motel, but it is clean and tidy and equipped with toiletries, which is different from other hotels. The service is good and there is always someone to serve you whenever you need it.
Check in was great I went out for dinner and when I returned I opened the door to find the complete window frame and window smashed and my belongings scattered everywhere. Despite being a little bit of an older hotel, the service, attention to detail and atmosphere of the rooms made the stay lovely. We like this hotel and have stayed here several times. The central rooms have no windows to the outside which is mot great. But overall the location, price, safety and comfort of this hotel works for us.
Very close to everything you wish to. However, facilities need refurbishment.
The hotel is so clean and food is very accessible near the property and my little bubba loves the very comfy bed.
The staff were helpful, called me to arrange check in as the reception was closing and I was coming in late. Room was on the top floor, I had paid extra for a balcony, it was a very hot day, the room was very hot, fortunately it was cooler outside so I was able to open it up and get the airconditioning going.
Convenience is the biggest advantage of this hotel!

It's not the high end of hotel accommodation but it is both clean and comfortable. In fact, its simplicity makes all the difference. It is located centrally in the city with shopping outlets only a short walk and Town Hall railway station and the light rail only about a minute...
Stayed here for the nice, room was okay, needs to have more sound proofing though can hear absolutely everything. Bathroom needs helps maybe put shower screens in as the curtain does nothing and most of the floor gets quickly wet. But very accessible to the city
Got what I paid for essentially. Hotel is very tired and dated and needs a refresh but acceptable for the price during a peak event. Hotel needs new beds, they’re not great but was acceptable for a few nights. Bathroom is very small and only a shower curtain, poor water pressure. Booked a triple room for me and my friends for a night out can't fault them 24 hour access. Clean and tidy rooms. With everything you need. Friendly staff. Pool on the roof with great views of the city. Deff the place to stay
We spent 2 night at the Regis, the location was perfect .......close to public transport, shops, restaurants/ food court’s/ supermarkets, the staff were friendly and happy to help with all questions. Great price for the location, the room wasn’t overly big... but how much time do you spend in the room when on holidays:-) We will be happy to stay here on our next visit to Sydney.
Great location in the city centre nearby train station, and walking distance to major attractions. Rooms are small but well presented, however shower was wedged into the wall and water pressure was quite low. Reception was friendly as helpful and rooftop is nice to relax on, with great views of the city.

Very friendly staff at the concierge. Overall, an absolute value for money. Close to Darling harbour and Chinatown. Will definitely come back again.
Big room Beyond my expection, room cleaning service is excellent. quiet and worth the price.
The room is big and clean, with a balcony which I didn’t expect, I love it so much, also, the bed is large and comfy. The location of the hotel is convenient, close to the Chinatown.
Positives: good location and spacious rooms. Negatives: Check in was complicated and a bit of a gong show. We were asked for passports from all 7 people in our family group. I’ve never experienced that before in Australia.  Absolutely no soundproofing, can hear everything going on in other rooms and hallways.  Sofabed was so disgusting and dirty we could not use it.
Will recommend this hotel to friends who can enjoy city walks. It's located in a quiet and peaceful residence, very close to the UTS. Chinatown, Hay's Market, ICC theater, Darling Harbour and the central station are all within 1km walking distance. Staff always friendly, easy check in, centrally located to where I need to be and clean
It's rare in Australia that the room is cleaned once a day, but the window in the room can't be opened, so it's a bit stuffy if you stay there all day.
The location is good, there is a Coles nearby, walk around 15 minutes to there. The receptionist at front desk is inadequate, which we had to wait for 5 to 15 minutes for check-in or request for extra supplies. And the room soundproofing is poor.
Clean and convenient. Had everything needed for a short stay.
The room was very spacious and clean. The most thoughtful thing was that there was a Bull adapter in the room. This is a good mid-range place to stay. Perfect for a quick trip, the people are lovely.
The room facilities are good, but the disadvantage is that there is no place to park, only on the street
The North Shore Hotel is good for a short stay (1-2 nights). It is affordable and a central location with easy access to the city. However, the rooms are extremely small. I stayed at Liberty Plains motel for two nights. Friendly and helpful staff, close to everything that I needed. The bed was very comfortable, no complaints about the motel. I can't stand the smell of cigarette smoke unfortunately late at night/early morning people were smoking in the car park near my room, the door to our room didn't have a weather seal so the smoke just came right through.
Just a room. Clean. Very noisy (yeah, typical Sydney but some noise blockout, and decent curtains for that matter, would help). Inconvenient restaurant is closed. Being cheap for the area helped it get 3 stars
