Reviews
My room was modern, clean, and really comfortable, with air conditioning and a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. It was amazing to wake up to that view every morning. The hotel’s facilities were top-notch, from the large swimming pool with sunbeds to the on-site spa, where I treated myself to a much-needed massage (highly recommend!).
What I loved most was how peaceful and relaxing the atmosphere was. Although it’s adults-only, which adds to the calm, it’s still close to all the nightlife and fun in Ayia Napa, so you can easily enjoy both relaxation and excitement depending on your mood.
The food was another highlight for me. The buffet was fantastic—lots of variety, fresh ingredients, and delicious Mediterranean and international dishes. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there was always something to satisfy my cravings. Don’t miss the themed nights at the restaurant!
The staff were also incredibly friendly and attentive, always greeting with a smile and going out of their way to help with any requests. Whether it was booking a tour or just making recommendations for things to do nearby, they were on it.
If you're looking for a place that combines luxury with a laid-back vibe, Tasia Maris Beach Hotel is the place to be. Whether you're chilling by the pool, enjoying a drink at the pool bar, or walking down to Nissi Beach, you’ll feel recharged. I left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to go back!
We arrived around 23.30 There was no one there to help with cases which we didn't care about. Hotel receptionist's were all really friendly and helpful the bar closes at 11pm but we were given a welcome drink when we arrived.
We booked a pool view swim up room they are amazing you get your own double lounge bed on the balcony 2 chairs and a table so you don't have to get round the pool to save your beds even though they say don't put towels out before 8am There were people down there at 6.30. food wasn't the best breakfast and lunch were better than dinner there isn't very much choice the bar closes at 11 but the New York bar is opposite which is cheap enough. The swim up rooms have the best views but not very big inside not enough room for your clothes i ended up leaving most stuff in my case. Age range of guests there is ok it's not a party hotel but not boring either. All the staff are great not to much in your face but still there when you need them.
Pros: the location is great, it’s a 7/8 minute walk to the centre of Ayia Napa but restaurants on your way. You can get a bolt taxi for 10-15 euros depending how busy. Nissi beach a 7/8 minute walk in the other direction, a great beach with plenty to do. The Spa at this hotel is lovely and reasonably priced compared to UK prices. The reception staff were the friendliest people we met at the hotel. The swim up room allowed us to sunbathe in the morning as the room faces sunrise. The rooms were well air conditioned and kept tidy. The breakfast had a good range of food and was tasty.
Cons: I felt we were not told just how unappealing the building opposite the swim up rooms is. In the room and outside it towers over, so although you have some nice plants opposite, look 20% up and there’s an ugly looking building. When this building is complete, you won’t have much privacy. Also, the plants opposite don’t fully cover as a fence, so we often saw people walking by whilst sunbathing. The road is busy during the day, and noisy. During evening it’s stark contract and no traffic. The road leads to the beach I think. The small beach by the hotel is not great, we preferred Nissi beach. In terms of sun-beds, unless you wake up and have breakfast by 8am, you won’t get a sun-bed during peak season. We were able to use the swim up room beds in the morning and then find some sun-beds at the back when people had left to go for lunch at 2pm.
The staff were average friendliness. I felt because we weren’t all inclusive we were deemed not as important. We had limited contact with staff through their choice. The Spa receptionist was the nicest.
The dinner was varied but felt quite repetitive after a few days and not the type of food I’d typically eat in a hot country. Eg. A roast dinner. We ended up eating out for the majority of the trip.
Overall, this is a staple 3 star hotel that typically catered to the 40-50s age range with a few youngsters. The rooms were clean and the stay was sufficient, though this is not a luxury stay. It is safe and well located.
It is very cool that on the last day, we had a plane in the evening and they allowed the women to stay until the evening at the pool, we left our things in the luggage room, swam all day and then even took a shower and got ready for the road. It is also a big plus that this is an 18+ hotel and there was not a single child here, it was very calm in the hotel and that made me happy.
