Reviews
Can’t wait to come back!
Pros: good location, in front of beautiful beach, hotel rooms cleaned daily.
Cons: food absolutely horrible, especially breakfast. Fruits are canned, cooked breakfast soaking in oil, everything that can be made with cheap ingredients, is done so. Desert that comes with honey? Be sure that its not real honey, but artificial one. Even most jams tasted artificial. Almost all desert flavorings were artificial. Many foods not fresh, brought out day after day all over again, just for the sake of giving the illusions of variety. On top it all we got food poisoning. Dinner were also barely edible - some days were better than others, there were a couple of good dishes on some nights, but overall I regretted dearly for booking half board. The town nearby has a huge selection of excellent tavernas.
Dinners don’t include drinks, not even basic filtered water. 3,5 eur for small bottle of sparkling water. Even though there is a filtered water machine in the restaurant, guests not allowed to poor themselves a glass.
Hotel was trying to push side sea view room as sea view room and only after many complaints changed the room.
Beach towels only replaced 3 times a week, on fixed days only… this is unbelievable, especially in Cyprus with high humidity, where nothing dries at all, unless you put right in the sun but most balconies are in the shade, so nothing dries, especially in the evening. So enjoy sitting on a damp stinky towel all day, up to 3 days in a row using the same one. No wonder many guests used their own towels. Best part - those 2 stinky towels are issued with 20 eur deposit for 2 people. LOL. And bringing towels back not enough, you must save the deposit receipts🥹 hotel found a way to extract extra money from guests who lost receipts or simply forgot to return towels.
Gym opens at 9am… Who wants to work out after breakfast?
Loud AC that does not actually work. It only acted as a white noise machine to block the noise outside.
Low water pressure
No easily accessible toilet on the ground floor - hotel staff sends you to a spa toilet in the second floor. I saw hotel guest literally crossing the street and going into public beach toilet instead.
Blue lights everywhere - interfering with sleep
Entertainment programs in the evening so bad, it’s laughable, almost no guest ever joined them.
Drinks are very overpriced - 5 eur for orange juice? In cyprus, where oranges grow in copious amounts and are very cheap…
All of these issues could be fixed with proper hotel management, which is clearly missing. It could be a great hotel, if the staff cared just a little bit more.
First of all you’re located right in front of Nissi Beach (please get the beach view room). Breakfast was good and dinner was surprisingly very good, with good deserts and variety.
Service was five stars. Receptionists were really nice.
The room was 100% clean and the bed was comfortable. We wanted a single double bed instead of two solo beds but they fixed that quickly. I really felt at home and would definitely go back.
I’ve done multiple 4 and 5 star hotels, and this one really felt 5 stars. Great value.
There are pool bars & restaurants within the complex.
The rooms are bright & spacious and are cleaned daily. The breakfast is a buffet style, as are lunch and dinner. There is a separate restaurant, if you don’t want buffet style food. The buffet is relatively cheap for the amount of food & choice. There are themed dinner nights, seafood, Thai, etc. Prices start from £10 for breakfast up to £25 for dinner per person.
The hotel is conveniently located amongst an array of shops and grocery stores.
The buses are fantastic, they run daily and are air conditioned, cheap and clean.
The staff at the hotel are amazing. Helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
You are firstly welcomed by the reception staff, who are friendly and very personable, the room we had was sea view, generous size balcony with gorgeous views , views over the iconic Nissi Beach, and forgetting the scenic sea views.
The room is spotless clean, spacious with adequate facilities such as kettle, mini fridge, safe , hairdryer and flat screen TV, the beds were comfortable with fresh clean linen, the bathroom was enhanced by over the bath power shower, all in all perfect.
Breakfast is included with the room, English breakfast is the usual fare, with cereal, fresh fruit, continental is catered for, you will not be disappointed, the service is excellent, tables are cleared and cleaned immediately, excellent service.
Other lunch and dinner are available for a modest price which is excellent value for money, dinner with a view is served by attended FAMOUS , which has dinner on the upper level with views of the beach and sea, the food on offer is EXCELLENT, check out the enormous CHOPS, my belly was busting.
The only only downside is the so called GYM , it seems to a after thought, it’s small, one bike, one very small treadmill, one cross trainer, not good enough, however I was the only one using it, exercising v sunbathing, it’s seems there is no contest.
This hotel ticks all the boxes and is great value, I will return
The outside pool areas, gardens and beds are of a nice quality and my only concern is that the kids keep throwing flip flops, sandals etc into the actual pools which is a bit of a concern to hygiene standards.. Hazard!.. but maybe the parents need to take a bit more control or read the pool regulations and guidelines board on entry to the gardens pool area...
The Bad Points, I've mentioned the kids alread..pools..
POOL; 1x Lifeguard for 4 pools!!! Jacuzzis and other pool additions for the kids are only switched on when the Lifeguard can be bothered, which is not very often 🤔
GYM: Small and not really well equipped for the size of the hotel,
No Towels, No Water dispenser, No disinfectant for cleaning after use on the limited machines..
SECURITY: Anyone can walk into this hotel from either the beach side or reception and not get questioned!!!
More Security issues, Breakfast is not controlled, as previously said, anyone can walk into the hotel and have breakfast without any issues of being stopped..
On a lighter note, the upstairs bar and restaurant are beautiful but boiling hot, no fans or cooling aids for the summer clientele, even the staff are complaining.
Staff are amazing and very helpful from reception to catering staff and shouldn't be chasing guests about who blatantly flaunt the rules from bringing outside food/drink into the hotel for consumption to children running wild.. Again read the signs
