Achilleos City Hotel

The worst experience ever. I booked through Agoda, have the message that I paid to agoda for a room with shower and bathtub. When we arrived the whole hotel smelled damp and the rooms also. The room had only shower when I said that to the reception she said we do not cooperate with agoda even though I paid to agoda and the hotel received the payment from agoda. Had to pay extra 70 euros to be upgraded. The hotel and rooms are damaged neglected, and need full renovation and the smell also is unacceptable. We went for dinner with all windows closed and coming back found a huge cockroach in the bathroom ( we have photos and video) we told the receptionist that this unacceptable and she said she would inform the manager. We went there after a long working weekend to rest and relax and first thing in the morning the cleaners were banging doors shouting and making Incredible noise and as a result we were up at approximately 8am. At the checkout we were asked if everything was OK and we said no. The reaction by the receptionist was ok whatever. We said we will publicly complain and her respond was do what you want . We have all evidence for payment for the cockroach etc. We did not deserve this attitude and to pay overall 148 euros for this disappointing experience. All businesses must respect their customers and the money paid by them. We feel that we were used and we had no rest at all.
