Reviews
I paid €30 per night with a Booking discount — taxes included. Honestly, that’s cheaper than going out to eat! For this price, I don’t understand why some people complain. The room was clean, the bedding was fresh, no dust or cobwebs.
There was even a small balcony to sit outside. The staff was welcoming and friendly.
I booked it just to relax during the day, but honestly, I wouldn’t have minded spending the night there.
Also, there were lots of power outlets, a working air conditioner, a fridge, and proper lighting.
Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a clean and budget-friendly place to stay.
The rooms were small and dirty. Looked like they didn't know what a vacuum cleaner was. Besides that, having curtains or not is the same because they were falling apart, though they were installed with the purpose of being blackouts.
The smell of cigarettes is impossible to ignore, and doesn't leave the room even if you leave the window open all the time. And they have signals everywhere saying that you cannot smoke otherwise you'll be paying an hefty fine.
The receptionist didn't speak English nor German, so it was almost impossible to communicate with them.
Also there were no towels! You need to give a deposit of 10 euros for each bath towel and 5 for each face towel you need. In the booking form there was no indication of this. When we returned the towels, they tried to give only half of the value back, and said that we were wrong and what they were giving back was the right value. After some back and forth we managed to get the money back.
Also to note, the WiFi is also paid, 5 euros per day to get the password.
Also noteworthy, there was no lock inside the room to lock it, which made it feel quite unsafe! And there were people knocking on the door throughout the night. It was quite scary. Not having the lock on the door. We barely slept the night
The smell is terrible.. smell of cigarettes everywhere, even while sleeping in mid of night you wake up with rotten smell or cigarettes. I never felt or had issue with smell of cigarettes, but at this hotel l, I hate the moisture of cigarettes. Unbelievable.
Second, the car parking, I booked the room, while ensured they have car parking but actually no car parking at all. You have to find a spot in a busy street. I paid alot of money for that.
The receptionist, was not helpful at all to solve this issue of the parking, he said we don't have the parking available.
I was only two nights stayed and it looked a year.
Upon all, people very loud / noise.
I don't recommend it for family at all.
My brother booked one room, he went for walk and came back no one in reception and the hotel was closed he called the number they had but no answer. He had to booke other hotel to sleep that night.
