Decent Hotel in a good area of Cologne. Transportation is close, either by metro or train and area around is full of good restaurants. Rooms are clean and morning breakfast is diverse

The hotel is in a residential neighborhhod, with pleasant cafes and shops. It is clean, and nicely furnished, with friendly staff, and a good breakfast

The breakfast also offers a good selection of tea, including black teas, as well as coffee. Also, some rooms offer smoking

My only caveats are that the bathroom is quite small, with a tub that is high to step into, and that guests are asked not to wash any clothing in their rooms, but to use the hotel's services

There was good communications from the hotel before I arrived and when I did I arrive early I was able to get into my room straight away. The room was very spacious and clean

This is a nice hotel to stay for a night or two. Very welcoming and make your stay easy. The hotel is a blast from the past and reminded me of simpler times in the 80s so I loved the decor

There is no air conditioning, so it is very hot in the summer, but if you open the windows, there are several bars downstairs, which will be very noisy, but the location is very good, and you can reach famous attractions within five minutes' walk

This hotel enjoys a prime location next to Cologne Cathedral. The rooms and breakfast room are elegantly decorated, and the breakfast is relaxing and plentiful, with a wide variety of delicious dishes

Booked a single room for attending convention center meetings. Receptionists are very helpful. there's some fruits at the lobby and all amenities in the room so perfect

Just recall the meaning of nearly 45° degrees (not Fahrenheit) when you think of you parking down there. Try Imagine sitting in your car knowing, that you never have driven your car in that angle before in your life

If you have to park your car in the garage below the building, you can spend nearly 10 bucks for one night to have your vehicle feel comfortably too. But be careful when moving your car in or out of this garage

Especially when there are any special events in the region around, you have to pay a very unique price tag for these days. Don't expected to pay even or less than double of the standard price here

The key in the lift to the hostel was given me a feeling of safety which is always good when you travel solo. The common room was decorated with taste, I didn't use it but a kitchen is always of good use in a hostel

Such a great spot would heavily recommend. The rooms were so comfortable and the beds where way bigger than any other hostel Ive stayed in. The bar downstairs is lovely and the whole area around it was great

Comfy and very large bed for one person, tablet/light/plug for the phone, everything I needed once I was up there. I could put my valued belongigs in a closed locker which was really appreciated

I only stayed one short night in that hostel but I wish I could have stayed a bit longer. I booked a dorm in the ballroom one, women only, the booth was great

The only downside for me is the lack of air conditioning, which makes it unbearable to sleep in during the hot season, although the fan helps a little. The shared bathrooms were always clean, and they provide towels

Deluxe 2 person room is huge! And huge bathroom! Very nice to stay for the night in our way back home. We did not take breakfast so don’t know about that. Outside of center but tram 5 min walking around the corner

Parking place but limited due to residential area

Bathroom was not clean enough (traces of toothpaste and shaving cream at the sink). Floor of the room was too dusty, apparently not vacuumed. I solved this myself by wiping the entire floor with a wet towel

An absolute must if you want to experience the Kölsche culture, locals, food. Bier is the best and made in-house. Food is typical Cologne culture and amazing. We would have loved to be able to try the entire menu

Located in great area, there's a great pub downstairs where you can get a free Bier, good German food and nice welcoming from the bartender. Only 2 tram-stops away from Koelnmesse

A place to stay for an overnight in Köln

What an incredible stay I had at the UHU Hotel in Dellbrücker, Cologne, Germany! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel's fantastic location—just half a block from the train station and a quick, easy walk to the tram station, both offering seamless travel to the Cologne Main Station

Overall, great experience! We were traveling with our children and it was easy and comfortable with plenty of room

I enjoyed exploring the local bakeries, cozy pubs, handy banks, grocery stores, pharmacies, unique boutique shops, a traditional brauhaus, diverse restaurants, delightful ice cream shops, inviting coffee spots, and even a beautiful Catholic church

The staff was amazing, we were checking in after 10 pm and the staff and all instructions ahead, so we could seamlessly check-in. Highly recommend staying here

We had a lovely diner at Prevôt. Nice people who welcome you, unlike their neighbours. Had some beers and the Salmon and Flamkuchen which were delicious. We stayed all night due to the lovely ambience. Would recommend!

I visit Cologne once in a while and stayed in Hotel Esplanade several times since the late 1990's. The hotels location is excellent, very near the metro stop at the Rudolfplatz

Clean and quite room, friendly personell, great breakfast, good location. We had a very good experience and definitely recommend it!

When leaving, I had to go to the railroad station. The hotel only has shuttle service to the airport, but the shuttle was put into service to take me to the bus depot from which the RR station was only a short ride
