Very good place to stay, new and clean. The people at the desk is helpful and nice

Rooms are small but the furnitures are new and modern. The location is perfect, in the heart of Cologne. The staff is very helpful and quality of breakfast is great with a lot of options

In additon, you get tickets to taste the Sion beer at the pub just around the corner. I will definetely come back to this hotel in my future travels to Cologne

This hotel is located perfectly - close to the train station, and right in the historic center of the town. Everything is within walking distance. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the personnel is friendly

For some reason they still use old keys for the door that you have to leave at the reception every time you leave. I'd have preferred more modern key cards

I would give it five stars, but the "small" TV only had a few channels, the breakfast (although good for a continental) was limited, and the language barrier was a small challenge

Went here as I was craving some good German dishes and was positively surprised. Also friendly service - will return again

Restaurant ONLY: hidden gem for some local dishes (see pictures; e. once a week there are very tasty potato fritters called “Reibekuchen” or “Rievkooche” op Kölsch, mouth-watering sauté potatoes or “Bratkartoffeln”)

The only thing that could make stay better in the summer, would be airco in the hotelrooms. The rest is great service.

I would still recommend this place because they were friendly and not frustrated by the language barrier

Breakfast was amazing. Very pleasant personnel that really care about your needs and are sweet people! Comfy beds, nice italian shower, enough space to store our things.

Good value for one night staying: basic but very clean and comfortable room. The only thing is that the reception seems doesn’t speak English (only German), and it makes communication quite difficult

Great value hotel 10 / 15 min walk from shopping area. Safe off street parking 2 min walk away (and cheap). Good size room and nice bathroom / facilities. Friendly family run business and very helpful staff

Always greeting us with a smile and super flexible for our needs. Location is a quick 10 min walk to the dome and their breakfast is prolly the best bargain-to-quality breakfast in Köln

Pleasant breakfast also good value. Slept really well even though being in a big city is far noisier than my little home village. Easy to find by car and will definitely return

I would say this is a fairly average hotel. It's in a good location; quite within walking range of public transport and many parts of the central city

The reception was very helpful whenever I had some questions or requested some replacement towels. If you can get a good price here, I see it as suitable for short stays

Small boutique hotel with decent rooms and good breakfast. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Seems to be run as a family business, so there is a personal touch

On the flipside, if you plan to check in late at night, be sure to call ahead to figure out parking access and how to get your room keys as the lobby is literally locked and shut down

The hotel also has a strange practice of powering off the elevator at night, so be ready to lug your luggage up the stairs if you check in at night

The rooms were nice and clean and the breakfast was also pretty tasty

Basic Hotel for the cheapest price in the region. It's okay for 1 to 3 nights.

Good value as many hotels were sold out or high prices during the Christmas Markt season. My daughter and I walked and visited 5 Christmas Markts from the Hotel Boulevard and would have made e 6 if not for rain

They offer a very good breakfast in the morning

The mattress was really good and the bathroom storage space without end. Can recommend the Hotel Boulevar warmly

Great hotel,really friendly staff and the owner was really helpful with local knowledge and recommendations,the hotel is about 10 minutes walk to the city centre and has lots of transport links close by, my room had a big bathroom with a powerful shower and comfy bed,breakfast was nice with lots of choice, Would definitely recommend staying here, I’m sure I will be back

Good location, friendly personal, average breakfast (pay extra for presso coffee), small elevator, beds are comfortable but small, cold because of small radiator. Rooms are clean and pretty quite

Nice interior with nice pictures on wall what was quite good in details. During summer it is a nice big balcony. In total good according to standard of Koln

Most of their English is quite good, they will let you reserve parking in advance, easy to get into, and the price is fair

The only thing I wish they had was more rooms with full bathrooms, but they are limited due to the building. The room that doesn't have a private toilet still has a show and is very nice

I have stayed in Koln 4 times in the past 2 years. The last 2 were in the Hotel Weber and it is now my goto hotel

The room had shower and sink facilities. However the toilet was on a different floor. Whilst not the end of the world, it was tricky to go to the loo with a toddler! Beds were super cosy, and we both slept very well

Very nice little hotel in the Barbarosa platz section of Koln/Cologne. The rooms are very clean as well as the bathrooms. Really friendly staff more than happy to help

Me and my son had a very comfortable stay during a visit for the Christmas markets. Location wise was very convenient to access the central parts of the city, either by foot or by tram

I do not write reviews for hotels very often As they’re either have to be very nice, amazingly located or the staff is very friendly. I got super lucky with this one, as all of Cologne was booked out

Our room was very small, difficult to move around, however, with nice community areas to relax in, that was a surmountable issue. The breakfast offerings and dining area are very pleasurable.

On top of this the staff was very friendly. The room was perfectly clean and actually also rather comfortable and nice. The location could not haben been much more perfect for what I needed

Directly on the river, so you can go for long walks or beautiful run in the morning. There is even a playground close by. I will come back the next time

Best location, near to river Rhine. But no AC , only table fan available. Reception available only daytime. In the night nobody is there. Many Food restaurant near by ....

The reception staff were kind and helpful, breakfast was good, the environment was clean and hygienic, the restaurant/room was clean, there were long hairs on the bed, the sink could have been cleaner

The only shortcomings in the room were: no drinking water (a bottle would have been nice), no slippers, no heater, no minibar, I felt like I was just passing through the room, there were glasses but nothing to put drinks in or do anything about it

Fantastic experience! We stayed at this hotel in December 2023 to visit the Christmas markets. It was such a great experience we returned again with my son and his girlfriend in December 2024 for the Christmas markets

A really nice touch there is a fridge on the landing from which you can help yourself to flat or fizzy water and a bowl fresh fruit on each landing. A really nice comforting touch

I was happy with the hotel and the price. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly, breakfast is good. It’s also quite central but the downside of this is that it’s a bit noisy.

I assume I was a bit concerned due to being such an old looking hotel but I ended up finding it really cosy and full of history! Very well located and nice outside space to take a few beers

Had dinner here and really enjoyed the experience. Servers were friendly, menues had pictures which helped selecting dishes. Portion sizes and prices were fair for the location

Reservations are highly recommended since many travellers and even people from cologne find their way here. One of the other many satisfactions is the food and especially the pizza

We gad a salmon pasta and a chicken skewer with mash and salad. Chicken was super tender but the pasta needed some seasoning or olive oil /lemon just to elevate it a bit

Furthermore, the hotel is near to the city centre and the neighborhood is nice! I recommend you this place and if I come back I will for sure stay here again!

The service facilities are very good, but there is one thing I am not satisfied with: the price on their own website is lower than the price on Ctrip! I felt a little unhappy when I found out

The property was spotless in respect the general areas as was the room. Little touches like sweets on the pillowcase and tissues in the bathroom just added to the good stay

This hotel is located in a nice place and run by an amazing landlady herself. You won’t feel like living in a hotel but at home. Foods are fresh and the owner lady makes the breakfast herself and it’s worth it.

The proprietor running the place is a lovely woman. The place was clean well stocked with what you need when traveling and comfortable. I would certainly reccomend to anybody I know coming through Cologne.

The host is very friendly and welcoming, there's a free parking right at the entrance, the breakfast was generous and there's a bus station for transportation towards the Old Town right across the street.

The owner was very accomodating and has a great philosophy, let me check into my room as soon as it was ready around 10am, gave a great overview of the area and then cooked me a personalized breakfast

My room was comfortable and the breakfast was great. A taxi into the airport cost about €12, so offers a great value alternative to airport hotels

Hotel in the middle of the city near to the dom directly at the Rhein. Standard rooms with good breakfast.

For the price and space, definitely one of the better 3-star rated hotels. No elevator from ground floor to reception on first floor. There is an elevator from the reception up to rooms at least

The location of the hotel is really good. It’s near to everything in walking distance. The rooms are simple but good and clean. The bed was comfortable enough for two nights and the service was good as well

I was staying in the Boutique building which I believe is newer and right across the street from the front desk. The room was updated with new furnishings and fixtures and was spotless

I was only there for two nights so I wasn't particular about cleaning, so it didn't bother me, but I was surprised because this hasn't happened when I've stayed at other hotels

It is an incredible value stay and I could not be more pleased with the quality you get for the price. I will absolutely stay here again when I am back in Köln

Location is terrific as it is a 10 min walk to the Dom or 10 minutes to the river. Close to the main shopping street and lots of restaurants

Most importantly, the room is very good, with a sound system, and it's very clean. I forgot to take pictures of the room, but it basically matches the description. It has air conditioning and an adjustable shower

While not in the city center, it's conveniently located for transportation, with restaurants and drugstores nearby, and excellent amenities. Although the room was small, it was very clean and tidy

Although the location is a little far from the city center, transportation is very convenient. There are supermarkets, Burger King, Lidl, etc. nearby, which is very convenient. It's also not far from the train station

The only thing is that there's a big grasshopper picture on the wall, which is a bit strange. Otherwise, I'm very satisfied! I can't find any problems! I will choose this hotel again when I visit Cologne next time!

One night stop over. OK place, clean friendly people, fine for a quick business trip for those ok with simple accomdation. Bed was comfortable curtains keep out the light.

Near the airport: the boarding gates of the airport are at 30/40 minutes walking distance. No air conditioning so my room was hot with outside air temperature at almost 30 degrees C.

The design of the hotel is very good, but the room is a bit small, and the worst thing is that the car parked in front of the hotel was towed away, and I was fined 252 euros, which was depressing

Perfect location for a Palladium concert. Great bar! Comfortable room, quick check-in and out. If you are there on a weekend, be aware that the best bet for breakfast IS the hotel.

But WiFi was almost entirely out of order for the duration of my ＞3 days there, and, in my room, the safe had no batteries so it too was useless, and the bedside reading lamps lacked light bulbs

Compensation for lack of WiFi was free breakfasts - which was very nice but didn’t overcome the frustration of no WiFi for someone without easy roaming data from home
