Booked this hotel with my colleagues on a business trip. We stayed for one night and thought it was good, so we booked another night. It was mainly because it was close to our business location

Everything was perfect: pleasant room, excellent breakfast, nice gym and sauna, and good bicycles! Everybody (from reception to waiter to cleaninglady) seems to have pleasure in helping you. So nice!

I was there for 10+ days on a business visit. It is easy to get to the hotel and many places within walking distance, including public transport. What bummed me were the extra charges for parking and breakfast

It is difficult to use a room card when we have not checked in yet. The room itself was okay, nothing personal and good for staying overnight. However, the bathroom floor was not clean

Bathroom is rather small, but thanks to the high water pressure the shower is fantastic. Friendly staff who look after check in and a small bar in the lounge

It's not the best Ibis I ever had and to be honest it's probably on the low side of all the Ibis hotels I ever slept in

Place is 2 mins walk from a station that takes you to the main landmarks, including Hauptbanhof. Squeaky clean, great staff and the buffet is really varied, tasty and with everything for anyone, absolutely recommended.

Price/quality wise its really a good hotel. Love the swimming pool and the room was what you would expect for the price. Lovely service made it a great example of a succeeded trip!

However, in general, my experience for the first two days of my stay has been very good

At first, I chose the expensive superior room, and the carpet looked old, not as good as the cheaper business room. I stayed in the room directly opposite the elevator, and it was not very noisy

The overall environment is good

It is a must-stay every time I go on a business trip. The scenery outside the room is very beautiful. You can see the Cologne Cathedral. It is recommended to stay here. It is a little far from the city

I would highly recommend the place for a business travel perhaps even for a family to stay. I cannot offer much insight into the breakfast offering because I chose it on breakfast option

Ten from York fire Christmas markets and pals birthday. Rooms were great excellent showers. Breakfast covered all the bases. Staff on reception very helpful. Sorted out Koln Cards for us and 2 taxis back to airport

Although it is a little far from the station, there are many restaurants nearby, so it was convenient. There are only stairs on some floors, so it is a little difficult to move large luggage

Laid back hotel, with expectational service. The rooms are nice and big. Washroom's a big plus. Wish they could've had a little refrigerator in the room. All in all, loved the stay and would 100% recommend.

All questions are answered, and the communication is very smooth. Overall, the price-performance ratio is very high, and the experience is very satisfactory. It completely meets my expectations

The main reason is that the surrounding environment of the hotel is very good, with a large forest, lush and green, walking around and looking around, the mood is also comfortable, the breakfast is relatively average

Gedlich Racing on Tour - Jaumann's Hotel, Cologne/Germany

I stayed for a week in the spring of 2013 around the Easter holiday and they even gave a chocolate bunny for a gift! It's a fair half an hour walk from the train station into downtown Cologne

It's a quiet, clean and lovely small hotel with modern looking rooms and very nice staff

Great location as it is only 1 min walk to the station. Love the service and the room as well. Good for short term stays. Would definitely come back here again!

Great hotel location, but room view wasn't very good. Excellent service from hotel staff and even provided a complimentary bottle of Prosecco for my birthday. Room was very hot and pillows not so good though

Entrance to the hotel is straight line walking a cross the Brenzlauer Platz, about 100 m. Two small downsides: The mattress of the bed should be renewed and replaced with a harder one

Excellent location, opp Central station. Staff friendly and attentive. Room is clean. Enjoy my stay. Only comment is toilet is small and the sink needs to change. Will return in future.

And their was some disturbing noise (I am sensitive to noise, in particular at night) from either the compressor or larger blower of some air-conditioning (mine AC was switched off)

Enter the hotel, be greeted with a friendly smile and "just wait a moment" as they were serving another guess trying hard and quit successful to speak in his mother tongue (French)

Breakfast was good, rooms were a little small but enough for one person. Sadly the TV didn't functioned perfectly. Netflix and many Channels weren't available but didn't mind it since it was just one night

Was here for the Chase Atlantic concert- PERFECT location since it was right across from the arena and I didn't have to worry about walking through Köln at night, which as a solo traveling 20± yo woman was beyond fantastic ~ ♡ Staff was really nice and accommodating + breakfast was top

This is a four star hotel but offers nice service very close to a 5 star. Rooms are wide and sunny if you open the windows with a fresh breeze. You come back from work and find your rooms tidy and clean

The perfect hotel for the arena. We went to see Incubus (30/04/2025). From the end of the gig to the hotel room, with a stop at reception for a bottle of water, it took just 8 minutes! Amazingly convenient

Great place to admire some of the greatest Formula 1 cars in the history. Surrounded by trophies and a collection of other suvenires creates good atmosphere. Some of other road going cars are amazing too

The best part of the stay was the desk attendants ( Olga and Constance). They did everything they could to make the stay the best it could be.   Overall the room was way overpriced for what it offered

Such a cool experience! We stayed in a themed room and it was well worth it. Loved seeing the Micheal Schumacher collection as well! Few restaurant options in the hotel as well, no need to leave! Would recommend!

The hotel manager is friendly During my stay, I enjoyed the view of the Rhine River and used the indoor pool well ^^ It is right in front of the harbor district and close to the cathedral, so the location is good.

Lyskirchen Köln is such a good choice even the locals and traveling Germans recommend it. The location is 5-7 minutes away from the Chocolate Museum and roughly 15 minutes from the cathedral and central station

Usual stay. I stay often in this hotel. It is a good match of price and quality

First of all, it’s a great location — not too crowded, close to the train station, and just a short walk to the river, the Chocolate Museum, and the canal. The room was clean, and the service was decent.

You can easily walk to the restaurants (including a nice Thai place called Krua Thai) and bars and reach the Roman museum and Hohenzollern bridge without much effort

I was grateful for the swimming pool, which was spacious enough that kids don't bother you when you do short laps (most will be disappointed with the gym though)

The hotel is excellently located in Cologne. There are plenty of international restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

It was good in general. But some equipment was not working in order. And as the only elevator doesn’t have the sign from the floor side, it was a bit not convenient.

Great Location! Especially for night life. Pubs, restaurants, shops, supermarket, clubs everything very handy. Transportation too. The accommodation was offering everything needed.

While it's a bit of a distance from the Cologne Exhibition Center, it's conveniently located right next to the subway station, making it very accessible

The hotel is also close to the tram underground station and couple of stations away from the Main Station of Köln and its main Dom

Deluxe 2 person room is huge! And huge bathroom! Very nice to stay for the night in our way back home. We did not take breakfast so don’t know about that. Outside of center but tram 5 min walking around the corner

I visit the Hotel regularly for years on business and find it very good. It meets the Standard of Best Western and its "uniformity" (the only "negative" point)

This time I came here mainly for the exhibition. It was my first time staying in this hotel. The room was clean and hygienic, and the location was also very good

stayed in spacious comfort room for weekend. comes with complimentary minibar that means 2 beers and two bottles of water. hotel is nice and clean, staff speaks good english and lobby kiosk is open pretty much 24/7

I stay here every year during the Cologne Exhibition. The transportation is convenient and there is a Lidl supermarket next to it. The only drawback is that there is not much food nearby.

Short walking distance to nearest tram station(line 1 and 9) which will take you to the cathedral in 20mins (unless on Sunday the time between each train is ridiculously long )

The hotel is good,from the train station 10-13minut on foot. My single room was on the 5th floor. Of course the room is small,but everything is very compact and functional. Very clean,almost sterile ,like a hospital

The hotel is quite remote, so I had trouble finding it even after taking a taxi. Otherwise, everything was great, from the generous breakfast to the great staff, air conditioning, and clean rooms with comfortable beds.

The location is great — it’s very close to the train station, which is super convenient. However, it can be a little tricky to get there by Uber since the hotel is situated inside an industrial estate

A Hotel with very personal friendly Service. The Hotel is being renovated and we have one of the great new rooms. The location on the Rhine is really nice. Breakfast buffet very extensive, and W-lan free of charge

Quick visit to Cologne, so the central location was great for easy walking access. Room very clean, bed comfortable and appropriately firm. Good bathroom, the room was overall well appointed

They still use a classic metal key vs card key for hotel rooms and you need to hand the keys to reception every time you leave the hotel. I would say the vibes are like staying at your grandparents who are very sweet
