Was here a few days I normally stay in the A&O in Germany. I was very pleased with the service. I like the fact I can order food at night. They have coffee facilities a pool table.The hotel is centrally located. They allowed me store my bag after I checked out.The area around the hotel was safe no problems. The staff were very nice. The breakfast was great plenty of food. Definitely would stay again.

A good place to stay. Rooms are a little small but sufficient as well. Some things need to be added like good lights , tea coffee kettle etc. The staff is friendly. Prime location. Clean rooms. Bedsheet and all are also clean.

Stayed there on the 13 of Dec with outside temperature of - 5C. When we got to our room after dinner we realized our heating was not working. Went to reception to ask for different room or if some one could come and fix our heating. Guys at reception told us we can use to ice cold room or we can check out and claim back the room money from who ever we booked through. So we are suppose to check out and look for another hotel at 11pm in the night. Totally unacceptable.

130% overbooked! We had to wait for about half an hour for a solution but got a room in the end. 2 bottles of Heineken as compensation.
Rooms are small and basic, Cleanliness was fine. All in all an acceptable accomodations.

The rooms very really nice and clean. But, for a 6 person dorm, the room was a bit small and expensive. The service was really good. The people at the reception were really friendly and speaks good English

+ The hotel is a 5 min walk from the train station and 10 minutes from historical area, so the price is well justifiable. Great staff. Breakfast in the basement and you can see how busy it gets, but good food14.06.2021
Hard to grate it.For the equipment in the room(for example,no charger around some beds)it gets one or two points,but for the service(altitude of the receptionists and also A&O Internet phone call reception)I think they are nice

I was recently in Germany for two weeks and stayed at four different A&O Hostels (Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munich, Nuremberg). This was the nicest of the four. The room was a comfortable size and setup regarding the room and amount of furniture present. Our room did have the two separate bathrooms, one with sink/shower and one with sink/toilet, though they were both incredibly small--my knees were against the wall when sitting on the commode. Our room also did have lockers for personal belongings. Overall it was quiet and an excellent location--walking distance to many museums and right across the street from the Flixbus stop. The staff was friendly. It was convenient having the luggage room so we could sightsee without carrying our luggage around after checking out.

Great location. Basically across the street from the central train and bus stations, and within walking distance to everything you need to see and do. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable, and the facilities were always clean.

Been to loads of hostels, love staying in hostels, this was ok and nothing more. It was clean and in a pretty good location but lacked any kind of atmosphere, the main social area felt more like a hotel. As a solo traveller you could probably choose better if you're looking to meet others.
