Very reasonable and very clean. The rooms are standard for a three star hotel but upgraded by some German standards. The front desk is incredibly friendly and the breakfast area is well designed. Fresh scrambled eggs and smoky bacon are a bonus. Beers are available in the lobby and the mini bar is stocked with a good variety of goodies. The location is killer if you’re looking to explore the altstadt.

Under the roof up the creaky top stairs into a clean room. It was hot at the top but otherwise reasonable value

Had a perfectly pleasant stay at Hotel Elch. The location is excellent for walking the city, it is very close to beautiful historic streets and all the main attractions. The room was clean and cozy. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful - sharing where to get good local food. It was a great, small hotel experience.

We stayed in Hotel Elch’s convenient, comfortable, and clean apartment style #2 with kitchen. It is located just across the street from the main hotel and next door to a hair salon in case you want to step in for a quick wash and blow dry. Love this! The staff of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful! Loved the location!

Great breakfast in the morning that was included. Front desk was very accommodating and let me move to a smaller room with air conditioning. Very close to sites and restaurants but the actual room was standard (but cute decor).

Super Central location in the old town of Nuremberg, a warm welcome, great historic house, very modern, well maintained, comfortable, delicious Breakfast buffet, despite the smaller selection, completely sufficient, and in any case recommendable, again at any time!

Room with a view of the roof are not allowed. Good adoption in the historic centre. Staff friendly, Breakfast acceptable, fee-paying parking, but convenient.

We have spent in the centrally located Hotel two wonderful days/nights. This was mainly due to the Central location of the hotel, the super friendly staff and the delicious Breakfast. The rooms were clean and according to the price category well furnished.
However, the air conditioning dripped on the first night, so the hotel room had a large puddle as we arrived at night into the room. With a bucket and cleaning stuff, the damage was fixed by the staff and the air conditioning was switched off.
The managing Director, Mr Robert Horka, showed the next Morning at Breakfast not friendly and kulantes behavior when he was confronted with the encountered defects. In the presence of other guests, he responded snotty and inappropriate. Therefore, the slightly negative review!

Wonderful hotel. The rooms are fashionable looking, great prices for their minibar and food choices in the room itself. Although, my bathroom had this strange, smell to it. Almost like the scent of Sauer krauts? I had to keep my bathroom door shut. All-in-all, the hotel is clean, efficient, and the staff is very friendly.
