Very relaxing and elegant place, also the restaurant is excellent.

The room were spacious and clean. The staff very friendly except for the reception desk. Spa and pool were great for the kids. BEST: Location. Near the river to enjoy it in Sommer and a lot of summer activities just a few minutes away. WORST: Breakfast could be better, but it was ok.

Location: Oberammergau is a strategic location. If you have a car, it’s close to almost everything. I don’t know about public transportation. It is in Obberammergau center so you have great restaurants nearby. Accommodation: Our room was a superior deluxe one, it had two stories and it was simply incredible. Ideal place for relax with family and friends - nice mountain views, cosy restaurant, a lot of pedestrian and ski routes just a few steps away, sauna to warm you up after a walking around. A good starting point to explore Southern Bavaria with its stunning mountains, castles and villages. Wish to come back here again.

Good quality of the room. Good view ,you can see the alps mountains around you !! It’s closed to train station and town. and the hotel will give you a card you can visit all place which is contain such as Oberammergau museum,opera center etc.

Enjoyed our stay in this beautiful quiet hotel. The staff was so generous and helpful from check-in, breakfast, checking out, and everything in-between. The views from our suite and the balcony were breathtaking. The drive to Garmisch for skiing isn’t too far, but to Zugspritze I would try and find something closer.

The location is convenient, just 3-minute walk from the bus stop and 5-minute walk from the center of the town. The room is clean and tidy. I really like the decoration and atmosphere in the room and the whole building. Those models are AWESOME! The breakfast was also great, hearty and tasty. It was really touching that the owner served us himself with warm eggs and fresh different kinds of bread....

We were only a day in Oberammergau. From the quiet location in the district, and the short way to the centre we were dismissed. The price-performance ratio with a very good Breakfast is totally fine. The room was beautifully decorated, with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The hotel staff were professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to cater to my every need. The dining options were also top-notch, offering a variety of delicious dishes.

Charming old hotel. Standard room was quite nice and spacious. Breakfast was diverse and good quality. Restaurant closed too early so I did not get the chance to try it (by 9 pm on a Saturday!) The gym is small with a C2 rower, bike, cross trainer and an adjustable pulley with a stack of weights. Zero free weights or benches. Bonus points for stallbar and honourable retro mention for a power twister

This was the first place we stayed at for a 12 day trip through the region during Christmas Market season, and it was easily the best hotel in the set. We were completely pleased. Wonderful staff.

3 night honeymoon stay. The desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was huge with a baloney that had a wonderful Mountain View. Very easy to travel to nearby sites with the visitor pass for local bus trips. Delicious breakfast every morning. We enjoyed the amenities - pool, saunas and massage. 10/10.

Great hotel with excellent professional and polite staff. Good restaurant, very comfortable rooms, and good location for relaxation. The towns around are rather small and seem mostly for guests visiting in the Winther months for skiing. Good breakfast. Prices are reasonable for the rooms. I will recommend staying in this hotel and I could easily return here in the future myself.

Awesome. Friendly people, very clean, good food, great conditions and exactly like in the pictures.

The staff is really forthcoming and nice, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, what prevents this venue from getting 5 stars is the quality of the food offered here. Breakfast was fine and the fish was also good at lunch and dinner, but the meat and especially the vegetables were too greasy.

This hotel deserves 5stars. Every corner radiates with beauty and a dedication to detail and quality. I can highly recommend it to anyone looking for peace and solace from the nature. Book it with halfboard direct from its website (for two nights at least). It gives you a much better deal.

I was in Johannesbad for a short break. Very nice rooms, good comfortable beds, safe, minibar, etc. Dogs welcome. Fantastic, rich breakfast buffet. Very nice, friendly and courteous owners, always available for a chat. The staff are also very nice and friendly. Very good cosmetic treatments and massages. Very good for hiking from the hotel. I would love to come back ..

Very good food and family owned atmosphere. My room was very nice and I also like the pool and sauna area. You have the choice of a take away lunch instead of breakfast. I liked that because I had to leave early in the morning.

Beautiful setting in Oberammergau, this hotel is in a perfect location to walk all over the town. Hiking trailing are close by and you can even walk to Ettal Monastery if you are motivated. Nice location and amenities. Bathroom in room is a little weirdly designed as there are windows into the room so your companion can see you using the bathroom. Fine for us but some people might not like it especially if you are traveling with a friend, not a partner. We were extremely disappointed when they said they take AmEx and the day we checked out it “didn’t work” and had to use another card...

The rooms are very nice, the restaurant and staff is amazing. People should appreciate more this place. Very near to town center and we had a couple of lovely days here, including the lovely spa area. Breakfast was very good too.
