The complex is enormous and you will definitely need a golf cart to get around which is costly per day but worth it! They were super helpful in getting everything I needed planned for my 40th

They only give you 1 beer, 1 so soda and a couple of waters in the fridge, which we thought it sucks for an all-inclusive. The food was really good, and the employees were super nice

Totally different than Punta Cana. This has a way more Dominican vibe, more music, more local people on vacation, and an excellent array of food and beverages

The overall experience was great! Friendly and very professional staff; good food and nice pools. The only downside is that the rooms are not that modern and could use a remodel, but besides that, it was great.

Hello. This hotel is amazing with the gold bracelet. Don't use any other. The blues bracelets are not good enough. I was in the tropical and we were very pleased with the hotel. The food is good 😊

Very good food, great pools and good restaurants, especially at the Cofresi and Tropical Beach resorts. The resort condominium is very beautiful and well maintained

The beach was very rocky and the shore had a lot of seaweed. The evening ambience was very nice with music and performance to keep you occupied through the night

The waiters are very high energy and happy! Only complaint is we couldn't get into to the a la cartes because you need to book at 7am! Who gets up at ham on vacation??

The property was nice but the rooms have not been updated in a while. The hotel seems to cater towards a more european tourist base as the rooms have european outlets rather than the standard voltage of 110-120V

The room turned out to be small. I booked a room for an adult, two teenagers, and a child, and they gave me a room with only one bed. It was really a bit uncomfortable to have all four of us sleep in one bed.

Entertainment was new everyday even the outside games were different lot of nice people

Overall it was great, but at some point the AC in my room did break

Asides from the the service from everyone was impeccable our roomkeeper Maritza was phenomenal and very attentive to us!! Gracias Maritza! Do not buy your souvenirs at the hotel i bought 6 bracelets that totaled to 2500 DOP which is equivalent to around 40 bucks

Older looking rooms but very clean and air-conditioning excellent. The resort had delicious buffet, snack bars and restaurants

Place has a very amazing view between beach and mountains, mattresses are a little to hard, all the employees were very nice and helpful, pool is big and well maintained, my boyfriend only had an issue with a cleaning lady that she wouldn’t let him go in the bathroom without a towel just because he was wet

The hotel is clean, friendly staff. The food In buffet is very good and a lot of variety every day. Good entertainment at the pool, plentiful beach side and pool side lounge chairs

Japanese and Italian restaurants are very good. Good entertainment at all day long. Thank you King Kong for a nice entertainment and Satos the server in the buffet

This would’ve been a 5-star review but the pool was dirty in most places. On the 4 days I stayed there, the water wasn’t clear, lot of debris (including hair, dust, bird excrement, yellow bubbles, among others)

Great HIIT gym class with Bryan. It's nice to have gym classes offered on vacation. The food selection and quality are also great. The staff is friendly and helpful

We absolutely loved our stay! Service was impeccable and the best I’ve ever seen! Ony, Lizbeth, Antonio, Richard, and the beach bartender were phenomenal! Housekeeping did an amazing job, and the resort team fully felt like family! We miss them all already! Special love to Stephanie!

I have been to this property probably at least 7 times, i love nearly everything however the rooms need to be checked prior to checkin, i almost always have experienced an issue with wifi, refrigerator not working or AC just not cold enough

Or maybe coffee available in our rooms to tide us over until they were ready to serve it. I was very impressed with how they had multiple daily entertainment for everyone in the family

Everything about our stay there was excellent. The only thing that would have made it perfect is if coffee was available maybe an hour earlier

The location is perfect if you are looking to go on excursions. we did 5 days worth of excursions and had the most amazing time

Checked in to The Grand Paradise on Saturday and I absolutely love it here. It is beyond beautiful and the service at Cooee is amazing. Everyone here really goes the extra mile to make you happy, I never want leave.

Can recommend the upgrade to cooee as it gives your stay besides an exclusive touch, access to vip area, a frequently changing snack bar as well as table service

We never made a reservations ( which have to be made at the lobby between 9&11am) soo many pool including some adults only pool which was nice

We had a great time here! Ok, admittedly the sales pitch was annoying. But after those 90 minutes, we had great service, good food, so much fun on the beach and pools!

The resort is part of a group of resort which you have access too, you can walk but there a shuttle which comes around in 15 min intervals

The resort itself for the price was great IMO but they didn't clean our rooms for 2 day. Food was honestly 7/10 at the buffets

This resort is truly beautiful, and we had a great time, but if you are not a member you will definitely feel it

Be prepared to be asked about the spa 10x a day ( they're at least nice and polite about it)

I stayed here for 3 days in April 2018. The reviews about disrepair are accurate and some of the food is just average. That said, the staff was perfectly polite and helpful. Despite the disrepair, the place is immaculate

The buffets are a solid B+ if you pick the right things (target made-to-order stuff). One of the groundskeepers gave me a coconut today after he cut it from a tree

The property is beautifully kept, the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. The entertainment staff go above and beyond, theyre truly amazing. Snack bar by the beach is a nice convinent touch

Do recommend bringing beach towels, only one supplied in room and no where to exchange it or get a second if there is more then one guest in the room

Bars everywhere most of them open 24/7 and snacks bar in the beach. Everywhere has beach seat and beds to dry your body out

i had such a great experience staying at viva heavens this july. this is more of a family friendly resort. it has a great view from the beach & clean. lots of day and night entertainment

extremely sweet, friendly & accommodating staff. especially the bartenders & the viva vibe boys! food was great & filling especially as me being a vegetarian. drinks were always appreciated & well made

My stay was disappointing due to the lack of temperature control in the room. There was no regulator to adjust the temperature, making it uncomfortable. This is a basic amenity that should be available.

If you aren't a member they treat you like second class. The bathroom had mold and roaches. The food was subpar at best and the restaurants had set menus you could only pick out of 2 or 3 dishes

The pool area was nice and being an adults only resort it was quiet and serene. The beach is only a 5 minute walk or they have a shuttle take you there. They have breakfast lunch and dinner which is included

The guy at the front desk upgraded our room for free with a king size bed. Shower above us leaked, flooded our bathroom and wet my clothes

The lady who is now at the front desk downgraded us “because that’s what you paid for”. The balcony lock is broken in our new room so we can’t go outside but I can see how nice it is from the window

There is NO entertainment (or animation staff that I’ve noticed doing activities) so choose your company wisely as your travel partner IS your entertainment. Thanfully I have an awesome man that makes everything fun

Pool bar ran out of favorite drink after me getting 3 drinks and never restocked, the concierge assigned to us did not care for us as customers he just saw us as a commission, he didn’t file our complaints neither was interested in doing so

The property itself is really nice. However, they need to work on their entertainment for it’s a bit antiquated. They are also selling vacation club memberships and because of their approach found it to be annoying
