Soluxe Cairo Hotel in Cairo

This is our first trip to Egypt and we chose Soluxe Cairo Hotel as this is quite close to Giza Necropolis. The hotel has 4 buildings in total . We stayed in Unit B on room 305.
To start with, we arrived quite early in the morning around 0730 am and we requested for early check. The staff at reception checked and offered us early check-in once the room is ready. We waited until 0930 and then we finally managed to get in. The first room that we were given was not the same that we booked so we requested in reception for change in room to which they happily complied. Our room was massive with a balcony attached. The room had good amenities with dental and shower kits. They also provided slipper sets.
The environment was wonderful with cooperative staff members. The breakfast buffet has good choice of food.
However, there are some cons. Even though the hotel is 4 star but looks quite old. Some of the furnitures are aged. The balcony was big but the window panels were full of dust. There were not enough plug points in the room. The washroom had thr necessary amenities but there is no jet spray to use after using commode. We used the same towels for 4 days. There were no additional dental kits and we loterally ran out of tooth paste.
Despite these, the hotel is very spacious with peaceful environment and a swimming pool. The price is very reasonable and we loved every bit of our stay in Cairo.

An outstanding Chinese hotel in Egypt, perfectly positioned for the Pyramids and museums. Enjoy great amenities including a pool and gym. The Chinese restaurant serves incredibly delicious food, and the staff is wonderfully friendly—they truly make you feel at home. Highly recommended!

This hotel was very nice. Only thing is that when you buy food from the restaurant that is already quite expensive for Egypt they add also some fees to every dish you order for some strange reason.

Really nice experience, especially their Chinese food and front office team, I highly recommend their Chinese restaurant.

The hotel service was excellent, and the facilities were great. Its location right next to the pyramids is a huge plus. They even offer delicious Chinese food, and the breakfast selection changes daily. A big thank you to the hotel staff for all their hard work. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Egypt.

The breakfast selection is plentiful, and I was so happy to find Chinese steamed buns (baozi), steamed bread (mantou), and fried dough sticks (youtiao) even while abroad. A true blessing for us Chinese travelers!

From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was incredibly smooth, seamless, and relaxed. The location is superb; from the hotel, you can see the Pyramids of Giza (Khufu and Khafre) and the new Grand Egyptian Museum. Dining and shopping options nearby are very convenient. The front desk staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, processing check-in quickly. They even proactively recommended nearby attractions and local specialty restaurants, which was a thoughtful touch.

The room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding that ensured a good night's sleep. The toiletries were of good quality, not feeling cheap at all. The housekeeping staff were very meticulous daily, always replenishing bottled water and toiletries. The local Chinese staff, in particular, were extremely friendly, and the Chinese chef's culinary skills were top-notch, with both quality and efficiency.

The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, offering both Chinese and Western options. The ingredients were fresh, and the taste was excellent, satisfying a variety of palates. Upon check-out, the staff even proactively helped with luggage and bid a thoughtful farewell. This stay far exceeded my expectations, and I am extremely satisfied.

Extremely satisfied! The room was clean and hygienic, and all the power outlets were Chinese standard, which was super convenient. The location is also great, very easy to find. Plus, they even have Chinese food available!

I just checked out and immediately rushed to write this review – this hotel is absolutely amazing! I booked it hoping for a taste of home, and it far exceeded my expectations. As soon as I arrived at the front desk, I heard familiar Chinese voices, which instantly melted away the fatigue of a long journey. Check-in was incredibly smooth, making me feel like I was back home in China. The room design perfectly blended Egyptian charm with Chinese comfort. The bedding was soft and clean, completely suited to Chinese sleeping habits. The most convenient feature was the direct access to power outlets – no more searching for travel adapters! The breakfast was the most stunning part: You Tiao (fried dough sticks), soy milk, Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings), steamed dumplings, potstickers – all authentic and delicious, truly satisfying my Chinese palate. After such a hearty breakfast, I was ready to explore all day without issues. The hotel's location is also super convenient, with the Pyramids and museum right in sight; you can practically experience them from your room. The service was thoughtful, meticulous, and wonderfully patient. Finding such a 'warm harbor' in a foreign land, where I could both ease my homesickness and easily plan my itinerary, was incredible. The value for money is outstanding, and the overall experience was simply fantastic. I've already added this place to my favorites and will definitely choose it again on my next trip to Egypt! I sincerely recommend it to anyone who needs a great place to stay~
