The room is spacious and close to the subway station, which is very convenient. It only takes a while to get to the city of Madrid, but the soundproofing is average.

Great value for the price, but the room where very basic/mediocre at best. I was in desperate need of a last minute hotel and the location of this hotel seemed perfect and it was, great walking distance from Serrano (1min walk) but like I mentioned earlier the room I got was really average but the price was reasonable for the room.

Literally just checked in. The receptionist guy took 15 mins to check in and asked "you are chinese right?" without even bother to ask, not to mention he was holding my DNI card in Spanish, clearly indicated my nationality.
Then he just slammed the card on the table in front of my face.

Contradictory information at reception - ABSURD! RUDE RECEPCIONIST!
We said to the reception GUYS, when we arrived in Madrid, we need to left our luggage 2 days in the storage room, because we had a trip to Peñafiel, and then, we would back to this hotel.
They said it was "OK", but, then (in the check out), Javier Sanches forbade us from leaving the two suitcases, informing only one could be stored.
This is an absurd, the reservation said it as possible and the reception guys said the same!
We asked to speak to the manager about it, but he stopped us and was extremely rude.

I booked the appartement, check-in was easy and friendly, the building is old and the rooms are dirty. Curtains have become black instead of the original white colour, the rooms smell bad and it feels like a sauna inside even when you turn off the heat.
