We spent several nights at this hotel. We really liked its central location near Gran Via, with shops, cafes, and attractions within walking distance. The reception staff was wonderful and polite. The room was clean, with linens, towels, a large bed, and was spacious. There were a few things we didn't like: the water heater was very noisy, crackling loudly when the hot water was turned on. The plumbing was old, and there was nowhere to hang the shower head for a comfortable shower. There were no spoons, forks, or utensils in the room, even though there was a kitchen—a bit odd.
Otherwise, everything was fine; the price just seemed a bit high for such a rather dated and less-than-ideal environment.

Becareful about your belongs
I stayed at this hotel recently and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I accidentally left my Tissot gold-colored watch in room 54 on a shelf when I was hurrying to check out. I realized the mistake the next day and returned to the hotel immediately to ask about it. However, the staff told me that nothing had been found.

This was upsetting, as I am certain where I left the watch. I expected more responsibility and transparency from the hotel regarding lost items. Guests should be aware and take extra care of their belongings, as my experience with the lost-and-found process here was very disappointing.

Liked our stay at exe suites 33. This is very close to the major attractions of Madrid. Gran via is right across, Royal palace of Madrid is in a walkable distance. There are several good restaurants around the place. This room had a microwave, fridge and two burners. They did not provide any cookware or cutlery to even make coffee which we find it weird. No coffee maker either. The room is very small but very clean and nice with extra storage and a safe locker.

Older property but clean. Only complaint is that sole window had no blackout/privacy curtains.

I stayed here because I had business at a nearby hospital. Callao and Plaza de España are within walking distance, making it easy to get around. This wasn't my first time staying at an Exe Hotel, so I felt at ease while staying there.
I would definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity.

Amazing hotel with a fantastic location! Everything is within walking distance, the staff is super friendly, and the rooms are spotless. Highly recommend!

This hotel is centrally located and easily accesible by metro. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Don't expect an early check-in before 2 pm, but they will keep your luggage, which is very good. Employees are friendly and highly supportive. They are constantly asking for feedback on how customers feel at the hotel. Great choice, and i recommend it.

Staff was very nice and helpful and greeted us every time. Bed was too squeaky. Location was great in Chinatown area. Many Chinese restaurants, convenience stores, and Anime figure / manga shops. Lots of breakfast places and Spanish food in the area. Bus and metro nearby.

Too expensive for the type of room offered. Toilet paper and towels were very very limited. We had to ask for toilet paper on daily basis. One tiny roll was given for 3 persons in a room.
