Compostela Suites

All the room doors were squeaky and the ones that lead to the stairs were even worse. If your room is close to the stairs, just forget that you can sleep. The hotel was full of kids that were running back and forth making it impossible to sleep with the sound of squeaaaks.

Starting on the arrival, during the check-in there was no information at all. e.g. meals, activities (pool, tenis, paddle).

Besides that, we paid for the pool usage and we were not contacted beforehand regarding it’s unavailability.

The kitchen was poorly equipped, and you have to request kitchen equipment in the cafeteria, and they will provide you a box with the bare minimum (not in so well conditions and not cleaned). The microwave was really noisy and started flickering and smelling like burnt.

We made some requests to the reception and they took ~1h to resolve the issue.

In terms of sound isolation, you can clearly ear the noises of other rooms, hall and even the elevators.

The bed sheets and towels contained stains, and the room clearly didn’t look clean at all. The floor was all dirty and the fridge contained rests of freezed food from previous guests.

Ending the review, we also had a little surprise of a lizard inside of the living room lamp. 😅
