Parador de Málaga Golf in Malaga

Beautiful location . Very local and traditional . Fabulous food . Nice informal bar ( food and drinks) and great ( more formal ) restaurant . Absolutely lovely staff . Parador del golf is the secret I’m Afraid to share - it’s that wonderful . Low key - beautiful - and accessible to so much . I love that so many guests are Spanish and we feel privileged to share something that’s not just ‘tourist’ even though we are tourists ourselves . It is in the airport flight path - but they didn’t bother us at all

We booked the Parador for a week mid- September. Paradores are known for their understated luxury, spanish cuisine and exceptional service. Malaga Golf did not disappoint. Being disabled we had a recently refurbished room , complete with an amazing wet room. The room itself was elegant and well sized with all the usual luxury facilities one expects to find. The room was westerly facing and with a week of sunshine we found it difficult to motivate ourselves to even leave the room . With lots going on in the substantial courtyard garden which includes a fantastic circular swimming pool, you can sit and watch life passing by all day long. With regard to food we had a fabulous meal in the restaurant one evening which consisted of aubergines and "black" honey (Berenjenas con miel) to start followed by rabo de toro, whilst my wife had goat. We did not have breakfast , solely because of medically required diets. We also enjoyed a lighter meal one evening on the Terrace and also a substantial g&t every evening. The staff were all pleasant and helpful and made our stay most enjoyable. In fact the only problem we had was we didn't want to leave ! But this was quickly remedied as my wife decided we should return early next year for some winter sun. Our lasting memory is of sheer luxury in an idyllic setting.

The room was spacious and located at a golf club with ample parking. The only issue was the mosquitoes.

Great location to the airport, shopping mall and ikea. We only stayed one night but would definitely return due to its location. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean.

I stayed here in the beginning of April. I would choose this hotel again if traveling to Málaga.

Room was in good condition and quite big. It had a nice terrace for sitting in the evening sun (my room was facing south-west).

The breakfast buffet had bread, cheese, cold cuts, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, etc. No hot food, but the waiters would bring you eggs and/or bacon cooked to your liking if you asked. The coffee machine was the type where you insert a pod into it and it then makes the coffee (there was hot milk available separately).

The hotel is car-friendly, there is free parking. I was always able to find a parking spot easily, although the parking lot must have been pretty full on Friday evening, since there were many cars parked outside the designated parking spots on Saturday morning as I left the hotel.

The hotel is located about 2km from the runway threshold, so there is aircraft noise. But, since I knew about this in advance, it didn't really bother me.
