Vincci Seleccion Posada del Patio

Stayed four nights. We were given an upgrade from a standard to a superior room upon arrival. The room was really comfortable with 2 balconies looking onto the street below. The pool area is nice although can get busy with decking sections quite narrow. Staff very friendly and happy to help in every way to make your stay enjoyable. The location is perfect for the old town, attractions and beach.

The positives first.

Wonderful staff! Everyone I talked to was friendly and helpful, and you're always greeted upon entering the lobby.

Great location. I'd say it's the perfect spot if you're visiting Málaga for the first time as most well-known spots are within walking distance and there's a bus stop about 1 minute on foot that links the hotel with Málaga's main railway station.
There are also lots of nice coffeeshops, brunch spots and bakeries nearby which are great if you do not fancy eating breakfast at the hotel everyday.

I also liked the overall atmosphere of the hotel and wished I had taken some time to relax in the courtyard. There's a roof top with a small pool and some tables and chairs as well.
The hotel also exhibits part of the city's original stone wall in the basement.

What I didn't enjoy was the room.

It was clean and shampoo, conditioner and body soap were provided, along with amenities such as combs and toothbrushes.
However, we booked a room with a balcony that was facing the backstreets and due to it being on the second floor, it was rather dark inside, which wouldn't be too much of an issue were there more lights. However we could only spot a desk lamp and some ambient lamps mounted by the bed.

Also, although the windows are new, and there are no late night bars close by, since this part of town is always busy, you'll hear people walking past, restaurant staff putting away or moving around equipment and other sounds (including buses and lorries passing by on the street on the opposite side of the building) pretty much 24/7.

Overall I can recommend staying here but you might want to look into other options if you're a light sleeper.

We absolutely loved the hotel. From the minute we were greeted by Inma at reception, to the time that we checked out, every interaction with the staff was a pleasure. They were super helpful and made us feel very welcomed.

The hotel is very modern,cool and comfortable. It's also in a great location to explore the old town.

Such a wonderful hotel. Superb breakfast with so much choice. Wonderfully looked after. Amazing room service. Lots of little gestures to demonstrate how much they look after guests. We also had dinner in the hotel. So lovely - fabulous service with very attentive staff and lovely food. A gastronomic delight. Would highly recommend.

It felt like an absolute treat staying in this hotel. The service was fantastic, from the reception to room service and bar staff. The room was wonderful and a private balcony was a real bonus. We celebrated our first wedding anniversary this weekend and we're surprised with a small bottle of cava and a piece of cake when we walked in to our room. The outdoor pool was great even though it rained when we used it. The hotel is located within walking distance to all the attractions, bars, restaurants and the beach. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to everyone who made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise to us. From the moment the Butler parked our car through to a very professional reception we felt welcome. Staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. The break was extraordinary with freshly squeezed juices and eggs to order. The best breakfast we’ve had in a long time. Easy walking distance to Larios and to shopping, bars and restaurants. Great value for money and we will definitely be back.

Impeccable stay I had. The reception the valet the room it was a lovely stay . Highly recommended the place the staff were very friendly intuitive welcoming helpful. Concierge clerk was helpful and recommended great spots around town. I wished to stay longer but adios till we meet again :)

What an amazing weekend we had here. The service was outstanding everyone was super friendly and English was spoken by really everyone. Our room was clean and spacious and all infrastructure components worked well. We had a car which the team parked downstairs. Speedy without any issues. We will for sure come back 😎

10/10 if I could! Hands down best hotel I’ve stayed at. Everything was so clean and well designed. The rooms were very clean and room service was quick and always so nice. My favorite part was the hospitality! From the moment my fiancé and I checked in, the staff never stopped taking care of us. We always had their full attention and they were all so kind and knowledgeable of the area. This hotel has an excellent location, it’s Close to many shops and restaurants but still quiet at night. The breakfast was very good and cooked just the way you want. The buffet I thought had a lot of great complete options. It wasn’t random food, well thought out and fresh. The pool was amazing and had many kinds of chairs depending on if you wanted to lay out and tan or sit up and read. The view was great too. It was so cool to explore the hotel as well looking at the “old Malaga walls”. I could go on and on but this hotel was def worth the price and was def 5 stars!!

The location is perfect, and the service and people are amazing. The hotel is very clean and nice. The only thing to be aware of is that the king bed suite is two levels, with the bed upstairs and the bathroom downstairs. Also, there is no iron in the room; you have to request it every day. Other than that, everything was amazing! 👍
