A hotel with incredible views, it has just opened so everything is brand new. The service and attention is excellent, willing to help you with any request. Perfect location, highly recommended!

The views are unbeatable, as is the location, super central next to the main bus stops and shopping areas, just a second away from the port of Malaga. The friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room are also worth mentioning.

To start with, we were very well received by Dani on the splendid terrace-bar. But also an excellent opening for La Equitativa, which was long awaited. Congratulations, and wishing the whole team every success, and for a new and emblematic hotel for Malaga. Ernesto and Paco

Absolutely loved this hotel! It was very central and literally opposite the main strip that Semana Santa parade was being held. We had no idea but we were on the 9th floor facing the parade and it was something to witness. The rooms are a little small however very functional with air-conditioning and rain showers in the bathroom. The bed was really comfortable and staff at the front desk was helpful. Our room was impeccably cleaned daily. They do take a deposit of €10 for borrowing an umbrella.

We did not have breakfast here but it’s so central there are plenty of restaurants to try nearby.

The people at this hotel seriously rock in terms of customer service and friendliness. The room was perfect both for the view and comfort. Breakfast was actually really good, but the location of this hotel can't be beat. My new favorite hotel in Malaga.

The location of the hotel is good. The cleanliness of the rooms could be better. The mirrors were badly cleaned, there was a dirty bedside table next to the bed, the remains of a drink, the sink was dirty, with yellow deposits. The beds and bedding are comfortable. We missed hangers for clothes in the closets. The wardrobes are large, with 2-3 hangers only.
Breakfast was very disappointing. Small selection, often there is nothing, you have to ask to refill empty dishes. For our first breakfast, we got watered-down orange juice. The coffee is completely tasteless, impossible to drink. Instead of cappuccino, children's cocoa taste like. It is impossible to drink. Every morning we asked for coffee from the bar, but for some reason they also put cocoa in it. Why?
I would say poor breakfast is the biggest problem of this hotel.

During my stay at the Soho Hotel Equitativa in Malaga, I appreciated the prime location and the quality of the breakfast. However, there were several areas where the hotel could improve to enhance the guest experience.

One significant drawback was the absence of a concierge service. Traveling with children or elderly parents can be challenging, and the lack of assistance with luggage was a noticeable inconvenience. The presence of a concierge or dedicated staff to help with bags would greatly ease the arrival and departure process for guests with additional needs.

Additionally, the hotel missed some basic amenities that are often standard in many establishments, including those with lower star ratings. Essentials like toothpaste, toothbrushes, cotton pads were not provided. These small items, though basic, are crucial for comfort and convenience, especially for travelers who may forget to pack them.

Moreover, the absence of a boiler in the room was surprising. The ability to make a hot drink in the comfort of one’s room is a simple yet significant feature, often found even in 3-star hotels. Its inclusion would add to the overall comfort of the guests’ stay.

In summary, while the Soho Hotel has its strengths, such as its location, it falls short in providing essential services and amenities that contribute to a more comfortable and convenient stay. Addressing these areas would greatly improve the experience for future guests.

An emblematic building in Malaga that has been converted into a hotel. I don't know what the rooms are like, but the terrace where you can have a drink and enjoy the views of Malaga is amazing, with simple and minimalist decoration. When you enter the hotel, a person tells you to go up to check the capacity.
