Scandic Helsinki Station in Helsinki

We stayed in a few different hotels across Europe and the rooms here were spacious and modern. When one of our rooms, the phone didn’t work. They have a ok breakfast buffet. I wish they would’ve had traditional pancakes. Instead they had a strange flavor. They our close to the train station.

Rooms are big enough. No Air Conditioning and the windows cannot be opened. They gave me a tiny desk fan which I put next to the bed. The Dove soaps in the bathroom are nice. No other toiletries. The shower water pressure is a bit weak. The breakfast is surprisingly good! The location is the best, right next to the train station and bus stops. Photo is of the train station next to the hotel. Great location, right be the train station. Room was comfortable and quiet and the staff were always helpful. Would 100% come back if we were in Helsinki again

Absolutely perfect location for getting around Helsinki! Walk off the airport train and you're there. (Tip: If you arrive on platforms 12-16 walk straight ahead out on to the street, turn right and you'll see the entrance to the hotel).

Every staff member by interacted with was very friendly helpful and efficient.

My room was comfortable enough but a little bit dated and it was disappointing that I wasn't able to adjust the temperature of the air consequently it was quite warm.

However the location made up for the shortcomings and I would definitely stay there if going to Helsinki again.

Hotel is in a very good location. 5mins walk to the train station to catch a commute to the airport. Close to tram and bus stations as well. Rooms are well equipped and temperature control was perfect.
Staff is very friendly and they even let us store our additional luggage for a week.

Excellent location. Right next to the main train station which you arrive at from the airport. Also very close to the trams and metro. 2 supermarkets nearby if needed. Spacious room, heated bathroom tiles are nice. I would stay here again.

Its a great place to stay at if you are in Helsinki for a short stay. The entrance is right next to the train tracks where airport bound trains stops. Arriving and leaving was a breeze. Area didnt seem shady or insecure at all, two supermarkets are nearby and all the transportation you need to get around the city is just in front of the hotel. Breakfast was super complete and offered great variety including a separate bar for gluten free and dairy free products. Cleaning crew was a little pushy about cleaning times and took an empty water bottle I was using to carry water around (they make money returning it to the recycling system) wich was annoying since I hadn’t thrown it on the trash, it was in my night stand. Other than that staff was amicable, even attentive when we needed extra heat in the room they brought an electric heater for us in no time. Hotel also provided umbrellas at the reception for rainy days. I recomend, its the best bang for your buck.

Centrally located. Our room was spacious and clean. The bathroom is well kept. Will recommend if ever you stay in Helsinki.
