Location: Rovaniemi, the Santa Park. The distance to the Village of Santa Claus and the post office is 2 km to Rovaniemi city centre is 5.7 km away, while Rovaniemi airport is 3.4 km away.

Truly beautiful and relaxing. The restaurant is delicious, though could use more vegan options. I would absolutely visit again.

Artic Tree House Hotel is truly a magical place to stay, especially when there is snow around.
We had a fabulous view from our cottage, which wasn't too far from the reception, so walking to and fro was easy.
If required, Reception will send a vehicle to pick up guests.
Breakfast was a fabulous buffet spread. À la carte dinner was also good. The restaurant in the hotel is highly rated in the area.
It is pretty close to Santa Claus Village if you care to visit.
The resort isn't close to the town. I was told the cab ride isn't cheap.
It's definitely a place worth staying at.
The staff is super friendly and efficient.

Just came back with my family from 3 nights stay in the hotel to celebrate my bday. We had two separate rooms booked.
In summary, it is a beautiful location, the rooms are small but comfortable. Breakfast is good, dinner just ok. Hotel has absolutely no communal facilities, like a games room, or even a living area to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. You pretty much pay for the room and breakfast. Everything else you have to pay on top of it. Overpriced, we wouldn’t go back.
Positives:
Rooms are beautiful, bed is very comfortable. There is an extra bed in the room if you have a child which is convenient (not sure how much they would charge for that)
Location is gorgeous. You can walk around the forest, go to the observatory tower, 30mins walk from the Santa Claus village (which is a joke, but this is another story)
Restaurant is good, not great. But we didn’t find food in Rovaniemi good at all, so I guess it is what it is.
Staff is polite and available on WhatsApp 24x7.
Best experience we had was the e-snow mobile! Worth every penny (159 euros per person). It was 3 hours experience in the secret forest, driving over the frozen lake, our guide Ezequiel was absolutely fantastic! Strongly recommend.
We were lucky enough to see a tiny Aurora boreal! Mesmerising anyway.
Negatives:
Overpriced- First night we had dinner at the hotel - 4 people: 3 soups, one salad, 2 burgers, 2 dishes = 300 euros. You can make your own assessment, for us way too expensive. Ps.: don’t recommend ordering the burgers, it was not nice.
3 nights, two rooms = 4K euros! Ok, the place is beautiful and so but there is nothing else included in the rates- no facilities to be enjoyed like gym, sauna, living room to relax with your family. When asked about sauna, staff from reception sent me the price list - 199 euros per person. Then I went on asking about a “tent” structure located on the way to the room, thought it could be a space with a fireplace and a bar… the answer was it is for private events.
The staff is polite and helpful but not very knowledgeable about the city or activities.
Watch out for the cancellation policy for any activity you may want to book - pretty much you can’t rebook it or cancel, literally only if you die! That’s exactly what the policy says!

What an amazing place to stay at for our pre Christmas break to see Santa. The hotel is stunning and the setting magical. We received a warm welcome and were quickly shown to our room. The room was gorgeous with a full window overlooking snowy scenes outside. So quiet and comfortable too. The shower was a little tight and tricky with the door arrangement but that was the only negative. The breakfast spread was amazing, so much choice including vegan options. We also ate lunch there twice which was also great. So much for children to do with sledges and a mini zip line. We weren't that impressed with Santa park next door but others might enjoy it. We were even treated to a showing of the northern lights - icing on the Christmas cake!

The most incredible destination with the ultimate goal of getting into nature and away from things. As a Canadian living in Europe it’s hard to find those true escapes into nature.
If you are looking for a true luxury escape for a romantic time it is definitely the best spot.

Luxury Hotel set in one of Rovaniemi’s most beautiful location.
Service at reception is great, very helpful staff, clean and tidy.
Very romantic for a couple getaway.
Rooms are quite small with not enough space to move around comfortably, but enough for those seeking to spend little time in their room while enjoying the amazing activities of Rovaniemi.
Would definitely go back and recommend friends!!

This is a really brilliant hotel.breakfast is perfect.outdoor Viewing is fantastic,Service is amazing. I lost my personal belongings at the hotel in the last hour departure, receipt found it. Directly send it to the airport security gate. Almost make me tearing. We had really good time in the hotel. We are sure will be back soon again and again. ❤️❤️

It was such a great experience. We arrived on 25 for a 2 nights stay and as we were not happy with our room, we asked to change. They accommodated us and this changed our whole outlook of the trip.
The resort is sustainable, staff is friendly and although food items can be an acquired taste (aka the reindeer meat) we really enjoyed the stay.
Only regret is to not see the Northern Lights.

This hotel did not meet our expectations at all.
1. The amazing view advertised was mostly trees about 2-3 metres from the window so if you visit this hotel, make sure not to get room 15.
2. The bathroom had not been properly restocked from the previous guests so there were several empty boxes that had just been arranged nicely
3. Extremely overpriced dinner where we needed to send back the salmon burger because it was an over salted pattie and not a piece of fish as we had expected. The normal burger was alright but nowhere near good enough to justify the 20+ € price.
4. The breakfast buffet was really nice except for the advertised mashed potato buffet which seemed more like a weird gimmick than anything else. We ended up leaving the breakfast early since the nights entertainment was soundchecking which made it impossible to have a conversation or enjoy the morning
5. The cleaning staff came and wanted to start cleaning our room almost an hour before our checkout time which I have never experienced even at the cheapest of hostels, let alone a place that advertise itself as a luxury hotel
I could go on but I can rather just tell you to read the other reviews of this place.
The staff is very kind and professional but the whole concept of the hotel just doesn't seem to have been completely worked though and they seem to be cutting corners and saving money at every opportunity unfortunately...

Beautiful hotel in the perfect spot - out of town but still easily accessible and conveniently close to airport (no noise pollution). Highly recommend doing half board option - the restaurant is seriously top quality. Very friendly and attentive staff. Perfect stay!
