My group absolutely loved staying at this hotel. First of all it is the PERFECT location. An easy walk from the train station and only costs 1.70 euros to go to the airport on the metro. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing...fresh, a great variety and open until 11:00. The staff was super friendly and always helpful. I cannot say enough good about this hotel Florence. We all highly recommend staying here.

Nice hotel, although the room is quite small for 4 people. The convertible sofa and the bed almost touched. Ideal for two people.

The staff is an absolute pleasure! We woke up to our flight because canceled, called down, and within minutes they had another room for us that night. They also watched our bags, stored our bags, and had wonderful breakfasts! I can't thank their staff enough, the hotel is right in between the train station, airport, beach, and public transportation. Book right away!!!

We booked a stay at Hotel Florence for 4 nights. Our room reeked of smoke although the manager assured us that the hotel is non-smoking. They asked us to leave for 30 minutes to vaporize the room in an attempt to remove the smell. When we returned to our room 30 minutes later, the vaporizer did not help at all and the room continued to smell as if someone sat in there smoking. The manager also attested that he smelled the smoke. As the hotel was booked out, they were unable to move us to a different room. We then asked for a refund as we will not be sleeping in the room and would find a new hotel. They refunded us 3 nights, but only partially for the first night. This was a frustrating as we did not spend the night there and as this was entirely the hotel's fault for being unable to uphold their promise of a non-smoking hotel.

This is the first time I have seen a three star hotel of this quality. Very clean rooms. The rooms are small in size but adequate. The hotel staff are very nice. The hotel is close to city landmarks such as the beach and ancient buildings. Lots of halal restaurants nearby. The hotel is a good experience for anyone who wants to visit Nice, France

Will be interesting what the owner says to this review as I can't see the usual response of " oh you should have told us" that you will read in other reviews holding any meaning here as there isn't anything they can do short of some renovations. The bathrooms are quite small, as others have mentioned. Overall it's cheaply slapped together with fairly poor craftsmanship applied to they rooms in general. To give an idea of size I've marked up a photo. The walls are quite thin so you hear a lot. The beds which is the most important thing bring up the overall rating as they are okay. It won't be an amazing experience but if you're just travelling through it will do. Don't pay a super high price as it's not worth it in peak season

It is a great accommodation, beautiful location, caring personnel, and nice breakfast.
At the reception everyone was kind and always available and welcoming: Kaoutar helped us to get a great upgraded room, Nicola helped a lot with many other things (particularly printing documents), and last but not least, Katerina, the smiling manager of the front desk, is doing her job in an amazing way! She guides the staff at the front desk in such a nice and efficient manner!!! She cares for clients as well as for her staff and you can really see it!!! GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

Booked a jr suite and was happy withe the size but we had a few hiccups the first day. The shower leaked under the glass divider also at the bottom of the shower wand handle which made a wet mess of bathroom floor. The deadbolt lock on the door did not work. The next day they moved us to a new room on same floor but when we went to use the garbage can in the bathroom it was half full including feminine hygiene products that of course were not ours. For a hotel to be charging what I consider expensive I expected more. Front desk staff were awesome as was coffee machine on first floor. Liked the power saving switches.

Staff and location are good and that's it.
The biggest problems were:
1. Quality of room - it wasn't as on photos, lack of air conditioning, hair dryer didn't work, very old furniture and the room wasn't very clean
2. Breakfast - very simple and there weren't hot dishes, we were able to boil eggs, but it took about 12 min because of the water (it wasn't hot enough) + facility is too small for that number of guests
3. Lift - just 1 tiny lift for the whole hotel

The Hotel Florence offered amazing value. Our room, after receiving an upgrade was spotless, spacious, well decorated, perfect location, and amazing customer service.
The location was fantastic as it was steps away from the tram, 10 minute walk from the train, 10 minute walk to the beach and near. Lots of great restaurants. All amenities were very clean and the breakfast included that was offered was really great. I can’t say enough about the hotel Florence in Nice.!
