ibis Nice Aeroport Promenade des Anglais

My experience with this hotel is awful. They first gave me a room on the 5th floor which was super hot and AC was not working properly. I asked them during the night to change my room but they told me that they were fully booked. I had nausea during the night. I have almost thrown because of room that was too much hot. In the morning Viktoria was so kind to change my room (I am giving 3 stars to this hotel because of her because she deserve 10/10). Another awful thing, this hotel took 116 euros more and they haven't refund us yet. When I asked they told me it is a pre-authorisation, which is insane when we did the check-in early (at 3 pm) and they were able to deduct this pre-authorisation from the amount we paid. So now we are still waiting from this 116 euros back (from the 28th of July). This hotel is just a nightmare.

I was allocated room 314 and the thermostat despite setting to warm condition did not work. Complained to the receptionist and he came and tried all possible conditions and failed, and suggested they could only provide an extra blanket (no change of room!), not sure how having an extra blanket helps the occupants keep warm other than while sleeping! The room was cold throughout our stay. The breakfast options were minimal. Experiencing this type of breakfast option despite staying at ibis previously (Paris and Amsterdam) where breakfast was excellent. Very dissatisfied and not worth the money that was paid.

My expectations for a good hotel are pretty simple, but chief among them is cleanliness. This hotel just wasn't it. There was a large stain on the carpet and an unseemly growth in the shower head. Also, our room included no way dry your hands. The people where, however, very kind.
