Hotel Busby in Nice

Excellent and great value hotel in a fantastic location just 10 or so minutes away from the train station (for day trips to surrounding towns) and the sea and about 15 minutes away from the fantastic old town with its excellent restaurants and beautiful architecture.

The hotel is in a classic style building with large windows, clean and renovated bathrooms and decent facilities.
The air con worked well, there was a nice large lobby area to relax in and there was a decent breakfast with fruits, juice and croissants, although nothing to write home about.

You can also borrow beach parasols and mats for free.
Hotel staff were very helpful and polite as well.

This hotel is 10min walk from the beach area and approximately 10 to 20 min walking to lots of restaurants and Old Nice. Check in was great, it's 230pm but we got our room at 2pm. Don't worry if you can't speak French, the staff do speak English but I would advise visitors to always greet the locals Bonjour, they will appreciate that. Breakfast is available for 14 Euros per person. The room is nice and clean. Room service is daily. There is no fridge in the room. There is a water kettle but they didn't have any coffee available in the room. Since I'm a coffee drinker, I bought a small container of instant coffee from the local grocery. We really like this place and can't complain.

I was, overall, very pleased with my stay at this hotel. The 24 hour front desk team provided exceptional service and the breakfast is very reasonable and absolutely fantastic with a wonderful staff. This hotel is all about affordability and location. The rooms are very clean and safe, and I had an absolutely beautiful view of a French building and courtyard from my room. There is an elevator and you can be in and out anytime of the day. It is only three blocks from the beach and a simple 20 minute walk from any part of old town. You can catch the bus by the beach for a full day tour within a 15 minute walk for only €25 and the two dollar Train from right in front of the airport terminal leaves you off only two blocks from the hotel. My only feedback would be that the showers are not conducive being that they are 2 ft.². Literally 2 ft.². The safe in my room did not work nor did The dispensers in the showers. The toilet also had issues flushing. All, as a solo traveler, I really enjoyed this. I don’t know that this will work out so well for families.

The view is beautiful and the location is good, but there is no sound insulation at all. It is not recommended for people who have trouble sleeping on the street. And this hotel does not use a quilt cover, but two sheets together... I am speechless and it is not worth the price at all

A nice "old chic" hotel with its own charm. Beautiful decoration, loved the Art Nouveau windows and my window with the view of the citrus garden!
A very good location, close to the Promenade des Anglais, the town centre, the Old Nice, the cakes, etc.
Good price for me.
